Since the middle of 2022, Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann have been struggling financially. Their Georgia mansion was nearly foreclosed upon twice. Yet, they were able to put a stop to that and now, they have kept the bank at bay for a third time. Earlier in 2023, the couple also filed for divorce while owing over a million dollars to the IRS with debts coming out left and right. Kroy lost some of his favorite possessions while Kim started to promote an MLM. Furthermore, she and her eldest daughter, Brielle, sold pricey items on her Instagram. Plus, Kim opened up her closet and added extremely lavish items.
She even included her wigs which were thousands of dollars. Then, she recently added Kroy’s very expensive name-brand shoes. Initially, it was believed that she was doing all of this to pay the family’s debts. Kroy maintained he had not seen a penny from anything she sold. Now, it appears the profits went directly to their four minor children. According to TMZ, the Biermann children had no idea that their parents were in financial ruin, at least for Christmas.
Insiders claimed that the cash she raked in from selling all of her personal items, shoes, bags, hair, etc. was used on the kids for the holiday. As for where they celebrated, the family gathered as one in their Georgia home, which they need to sell by next month. From the beginning of the divorce, they have maintained that their kids will come first. More so, they both fought over custody of the children with Kroy wanting full custody of their kids. It also makes sense as the kids have seen some traumatic incidences recently.
Making Up For The Drama
Right before Thanksgiving, Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann started to fight so badly. This prompted one of their children to call the cops. It was not the first time this had happened and when the police arrived, Kroy flipped out. He claimed they had nothing and that Kim was being intimate with other men. Meanwhile, she maintained that she had wanted to leave but he would not let her. When Kroy asked who called them to the house, they said the kids did even though they were now fighting outside. Allegedly, friends of the couple are worried for the children and what this doing to them. Thankfully, they seemed to have a peaceful holiday.
