Simon Cowell’s fortuitously good streak will continue after the music producer inks another multi-million dollar deal that’ll keep his live show in Vegas.

As reported by The U.S. Sun, Simon Cowell has signed a deal that is worth $13 million that guarantees that his live show will run through at least the fall of 2024. The international TV personality agreed to terms with MGM Resorts to extend his America’s Got Talent Presents Superstars Live show at The Luxor Resort.

Behind Simon Cowell’s Multi-Million Deal

Since debuting in 2021, America’s Got Talent Presents Superstars Live has been one of the most popular Vegas shows. The variety stage show features an array of artists who have appeared on NBC’s hit series, AGT. Singer Kodi Lee, comedian Preacher Lawson, acrobatic act Duo Transcend, and magician Dustin Tavella are just a few acts who have starred in the Vegas show.

Kodi Lee, who will also be a contestant on AGT Fantasy League, confirmed he has signed on for another year with Cowell’s Luxor show. According to The U.S. Sun, a Vegas source revealed the details behind the show’s extension. “The AGT Live show has been renewed for another year,” the source said. It has been a major success for the Luxor in the last couple of years. For Simon, it is a great deal. His acts earn him money playing live to satisfied audiences, while he sits back and takes the profits.”

In a December 2021 interview with Las Vegas Magazine, Cowell spoke about his vision for America’s Got Talent Presents Superstars Live. “I’d say for over ten years we’ve been having conversations about this show,” Cowell said. “About two years ago, after meeting with [executives at] MGM Resorts, it felt like we finally found the right partners and suddenly we were going to do it. Now it’s here, and it’s a bit surreal.”

For Cowell, capturing the spirit of AGT was vital to his live show’s success. “It’s almost like you’re trying to create your perfect finale on the TV show. It’s a mixture of magic, comedy, danger, and music, everything that’s made the main show work,” Cowell revealed. “[We’re] trying to find that perfect balance and also finding people who wanted to be on the show. We wanted people who have always dreamt of having their own show. Because we’re furthering the opportunity to enable them to do that.”

Taking A Look Ahead To AGT: Fantasy League

AGT: Fantasy League will premiere on Monday, January 1. Cowell and his team will attempt to cash in on the popularity of AGT and the show’s most popular acts. According to NBC, AGT: Fantasy League will “see each judge compete against each other for bragging rights by leading their own Dream Team. Acting as a mentor for a roster of acts they pick themselves from across the AGT universe, making the stakes even higher. Ultimately, the champion of AGT: Fantasy League will take home a $250,000 grand prize.”

The show will feature Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, and Terry Crews all returning to the judge’s panel. Previous judge, Mel B, will also be coming back to AGT as well. The judges will work with 40 returning acts from previous AGT seasons. Some of the returning acts will include Adrian Stoica + Hurricane, Aidan Bryant, Billy & Emily England, and Brian Justin Crum.
