That is because last season, her boyfriend dumped her right before the holiday. Worse yet, he got some great career news, while she is juggling a lot of photography work. Erin is burnt out.
Therefore, when she gets an an email from a local radio station announcing she won the chance to make three wishes, she says that she wished Christmas never existed. She almost instantly regrets her wish. Now, she is working hard to tell people what Christmas is all about.
Thankfully, Sam is serendipitously able to remember. Now, the two go around and try to recreate Christmas for everyone to enjoy. Meanwhile, Santa’s elves do what they can to save Christmas.

When Will The Hallmark Channel Air Rescuing Christmas?
The producer of Hallmark’s Rescuing Christmas, Mandy June Turpin, recently spoke to the Duluth New Tribune. Firstly, Turpin revealed, “Hallmark could not be happier than they are right now with this movie.” This is very exciting for Duluth, Minnesota, where this holiday movie was made. Moreover, they used almost all Minnesota talent for this movie, including Minneapolis native Rachael Leigh Cook.
Therefore, a lot of people who were extras or participated in other ways will want to watch this movie. That led the movie’s producer to reveal when it will be available on the OG channel. “It’s going to air on Hallmark starting in July.” That means fans can watch Rescuing Christmas during Christmas In July.
