Jenelle Evans’ ‘Praying’ For Mother Amid Custody Drama
Jenelle Evans is currently “praying” for her mother, Barbara, amid the custody drama involving her son, Jace, 14. He went back to live with Jenelle early in 2023 after being raised by his grandma. Then, he was placed in Barbara’s care in the fall of this year. Now, it is unclear where he will live but Jenelle has a few things to say to her mother. Read on for more details.
Jenelle Evans’ ‘Praying’ For Mother Amid Custody Drama
It has not been easy between Jenelle Evans and her mother, Barbara. The two have had an up-and-down relationship dating back to their Teen Mom days. That was when Barbara took custody of Jenelle’s firstborn child, Jace, as his mother tried to find her footing. She had a second son, Kaiser with her now ex-fiance, Nathan Griffith. Then, she found love with David Eason and the two had daughter, Ensley, and tied the knot. It has been a contentious romance but finally, Jace came back to live with Jenelle in early 2023.
He did struggle a lot and Barbara alleged that it was because he was taken off of his meds by his mother. Jace ended up running away three times in less than two months and claimed David had assaulted him. That was when he was placed back with Barbara and an arrest warrant was eventually put out for David. All of this time, Jenelle maintained that David did nothing wrong, that Jace was never taken off of meds, and that her mother was selling stories. Now, she has a strong message for Barbara.
She posted it on her Instagram stories. Jenelle Evans is accusing Barbara of giving false stories to Teen Mom fan pages. She claims she is doing this because the press won’t listen to her any longer. More so, she believes Barbara is only looking out for herself and not Jace. Plus, she does not think her mother has any proof to back up her lies. Finally, Jenelle calls her mother “jealous” but ends it by saying she is “praying” for her.
The Battle Rages On
At this point, it appears that there is no resolution between Jenelle Evans and her mother. This will make it hard for Jace in the long run. Fans chimed in on Jenelle’s Facebook page after reading what she wrote. One felt that she should have texted this to her mother rather than put it out in the public sphere. Others felt that Jenelle was doing this to herself:
- What happened to the gag order? The only reason we know about the family drama is cause you keep outting it.
- Stop being a drama queen on social media.
- You should probably take your own advice
Apparently, Jenelle was given a gag order as was Jace’s biological father. It seemed that the things she was saying about Jace were negatively impacting him.
