‘Sister Wives’ Fans Take Sukanya Krishnan Hate To Next Level
It is up for debate whether fans of TLC’s Sister Wives dislike Kody Brown or Sukanya Krishnan more. Fans, however, have taken their hate for the one-on-one tell-all host to the next level. How did they do that exactly? Keep reading for the details.
Fans Take Sukanya Krishnan Hate To Next Level
Utilizing Change.Org, one Sister Wives fan has started a petition to urge TLC to remove Sukanya Krishnan as the one-on-one tell-all host and replace her with someone more capable. The individual penned in a new thread on Reddit as they promoted the petition: “Yes, we know it may not do anything but why not try? Doesn’t hurt to try.”
Her apparent reluctance to ask challenging questions or delve into issues that viewers are genuinely interested in has significantly diminished my viewing experience. I am not alone in this sentiment; many fans share my dissatisfaction and believe that TLC can do better.”
In total, the petition has been signed by nearly 500 fans. Comments on the petition suggest it has been live for at least two weeks.
TLC Strategically Renamed The Tell-All?
On Reddit, one individual responded to the petition pointing out that the end of the season was no longer called a “tell-all.” The individual continued to explain TLC strategically renamed the last few episodes the “one-on-one interviews” of the various cast members.
Unfortunately, many fans agree this name change suggests these episodes are not intended to be tell-all situations answering fans’ burning questions. Instead, fans believe the family likely signs off on questions they feel comfortable answering.
All the questions are solely related to what we’ve seen during the season and nothing else. Suki’s doing what any interviewer would do, simply being a mouthpiece to prompt their responses.
This particular fan continues to add it is “obvious” the series is coming to an end by the way the end-of-the-season interviewers have been handled this season.
In a response liked nearly 40 times by other fans who agree, the fan adds that the petition will change nothing. They added: “A petition isn’t going to change anything because fans are stamping their feet and demanding more. You’ll get more when the Browns are ready to sell more for the highest price they can get. It’s got nothing to do with Sukanya.”
Other Fans Chimed In
There is no denying that Sister Wives fans across the board dislike Sukanya Krishnan. Most agree she is afraid of Kody Brown. So, she throws him soft questions. Furthermore, they believe she backs off any time he gets aggressive or intense during the interview. Sukanya Krishnan, however, has defended herself saying she believes she’s a “fair” interviewer.
Despite most fans feeling the same way about her, they don’t necessarily think the petition is going to change anything. Here’s what some other fans said on the thread:
- “Idk why people cannot comprehend that Kody and Robyn control their own narrative and Kody would literally walk if forced to answer a question he didn’t like.”
- “It’s not Suki. They’re not going to answer questions they don’t want to.”
- “Shes doing what she was hired to do, otherwise they wouldn’t hire her back. Trust and believe, what is being aired is all they want you to see to keep people coming back for more.”
Some fans point out that Suki is simply doing the job she was hired by TLC to do. These fans believe Kody and Robyn will only answer questions they feel like answering as they “control their narrative.”
