For the first time since he went away to a Pensacola prison in January 2023, Todd Chrisley is officially speaking out. Yet, he is not speaking out through his kids or sending a message. Todd Chrisley Speaks Out For First Time Behind Bars
In June 2022, Todd Chrisley and his wife, Julie were found guilty of tax evasion which led to their hefty sentences. He was sentenced to twelve years behind bars whereas Julie received a seven-year sentence. Recently, their daughter, Savannah Chrisley shared that her parents had been granted oral arguments. This is extremely rare, around six percent of cases receive this treatment. It led Savannah to tears as this could lessen her parents’ sentence and bring them home. Currently, she has custody of her younger teenage brother and her niece, who is like a little sister to her.
After months of reporting on the horrid treatment her father has received behind bars, Todd is finally getting his chance to talk. According to a Reddit thread, Todd will be speaking out on News Nation. This will occur on Friday, December 8th at 8 pm EST per Brian Entin. Furthermore, he shared he will be chatting with Savannah.

He describes brutal conditions and a photograph taken of him while he was sleeping and sent to Savannah asking for money in exchange for his protection.

So, what was the response to this news about Todd Chrisley finally getting to be heard from behind bars? More so, were fans excited or did they not really care? The feelings were strong.
- Part of me thinks this is just another cycle in their publicity tour. They’re trying to try this thing in the press and don’t seem to understand nothing changes except in a court of law. I wouldn’t believe this story unless I see for myself.
- They continue to do the most. It’s gonna be a long 12 years for Todd.
