‘Southern Charm’ Kathryn Dennis’ Victim Ignored, Wants Justice
Bravo’s Southern Charm star Kathryn Dennis’ hit-and-run victim feels ignored by the justice department. In fact, it was only just recently that the South Carolina deputy sheriff and school crossing guard broke silence and spoke to the press. Michelle Ward recently told the press she feels ignored by those investigating the accident and she wants justice.
Kathryn Dennis’ Victim Ignored, Wants Justice
Speaking exclusively to RadarOnline, Michelle Ward accuses investigators of “dragging their feet” on hitting the Southern Charm star with criminal charges for hitting a person after speeding through a school zone and then allegedly fleeing the scene.
As those who have been following this story know, Michelle Ward was a school crossing guard for an elementary school when she was hit by a vehicle that belonged to Bravo’s Southern Charm star Kathryn Dennis.
The South Carolina deputy sheriff previously told RadarOnline she believed she was lucky to be alive. Furthermore, she added she was just relieved there were not any children in the road when the accident happened.
Victim Hires A Lawyer
Michelle Ward has officially hired a lawyer after claiming investigators are keeping her out of the loop on what’s going on with her case.
“They won’t return my calls. I don’t why she hasn’t been charged,” she told RadarOnline. Sadly, she feels as though Bravo’s Southern Charm star Kathryn Dennis is getting special treatment because she’s a celebrity.
I don’t know if it’s because she’s a local celebrity or actress or it’s because of the family that she is connected to or if it’s just they don’t want to. I don’t know if they just feel that they don’t have enough – I don’t know. I would like to know why just for my own sanity to know why they haven’t done anything.”
Kathryn Dennis’ Victim Had No Idea Who She Was
Michelle Ward recalls the moment she was told the vehicle that hit her came back belonging to Kathryn Dennis. The school crossing guard shrugged off the name as she had no idea who it was. It wasn’t until other people told her that she learned she was hit by a celebrity.
She explained: “I was told the car came back to ‘Kathryn Dennis’ and everybody was like, ‘Oh my God, do you know who that is?’ And I’m like, ‘the person who hit me!’ And they were like, ‘No. She’s a celebrity.’ I asked, ‘A celebrity of what?’”
The South Carolina deputy sheriff is saddened by the situation. She assumes it would’ve been completely swept under the rug if she didn’t also work in law enforcement. She, however, doesn’t seem to be willing to back down on getting justice.
