How Did Kat Izzo Get ‘Homie Hopper’ Label?
Kat Izzo was a contestant on Season 27 of The Bachelor. She made it to the top seven before Zach Shallcross sent her home right before hometowns.
The registered nurse joined Season 9 of Bachelor In Paradise for a second chance at love. Connections were quickly formed on the beach. However, Izzo upset other contestants by dating multiple men on the beach.

She first dated Brayden Bowers but their connection crumbled when Tanner Courtad stepped foot on the beach. Her brief flirtation with Courtad ended when he took another contestant on a date.
Izzo moved on to John Henry Spurlock.
Bowers, still smarting over their breakup, called Izzo a “homie hopper” during a recent episode.
In addition to the label, Kat Izzo had multiple “jokes” thrown her way during the roast hosted by Katie Thurston. Olivia roasted Izzo and Kylee Russell in one joke: “Kylee and Kat have a lot in common. Both very pretty, both their names start with K, and both stole my man.”
Tanner made a joke about her using too much Botox.

Fresh off her recent apology for her behavior on BIP, Kat Izoo went on the defense when it came to the ‘homie hopper’ label.
She posted a video on her TikTok to call out the double standard. The Bachelor Nation star filmed the video in a car as she put on lipliner. “Quick question,” she says as the video starts.
“So, when a girl dates in Paradise, she’s a homie hopper,” Izzo says as she applies the liner to her bottom lip.
“But when a guy dates, he’s exploring his options? Let me know.”
“Make it make sense,” she captioned the short video.
The comments on her post were divided, with some agreeing it was a double standard. “So true! i’m pretty sure tanner rn is exploring about 15 girls just to get a rose anyway LOL,” one of the comments said.
However, others felt she brought the label on herself.
“Girl it’s your character,” one person wrote. Another said, “Girl it’s the way you went about it.”
