‘Welcome To Plathville’ Update On Kim Plath’s New Relationship
Welcome to Plathville fans have been along for a wild ride this season. One of the biggest shockers? Kim Plath’s new boyfriend. So, is the happy couple still together? Keep reading to find out what we know.
Welcome to Plathville relationship update
This season on Welcome to Plathville, fans have watched as Kim and Barry work through their ongoing divorce. While this has taken adjustment on everyone’s part, Kim dropped another shocker on the family. She is dating Ken Palmer. Ken was introduced earlier in the season after meeting him through her son, Isaac Plath.
In the most recent episode of the season, Ken revealed that he was ready to take the next step in his relationship with Kim. He let her know that he wanted her to move in with him. Kim didn’t accept immediately, letting Ken know that she has children’s feelings to consider. However, she seemed over the moon that he asked her.
Of course, this leaves everyone wondering what ever happened with them and if they are still together. While it is hard to tell because neither Kim nor Ken have social media, Yahoo! reveals that Micah did snap a selfie with Ken back in September. So, it seems that as long as nothing happened between September and now, the couple is likely still very happy together.
Not the only casualty of the season
Unfortunately for the family, Kim and Barry were not the only marriage to end. Olivia Plath has recently taken to Instagram to let everyone know that she and Ethan are no longer together. Ethan and Olivia’s marriage has been a major plot point for the entire length of Welcome to Plathville. While at the start of the season, it seemed like they were really working through things, now, they have decided to call it quits.
“Ethan and I have decided to go our separate ways. I have ambivalent memories of us being 18 years old, innocently dreaming of forever – but the partner you chose is a reflection of the world you want to live in, and at 18 I didn’t know who I was or what kind of life I wanted to create for myself,” Olivia shared on social media.
Seeing how their relationship was going in the most recent episode of the season, this split likely doesn’t come as a huge shock for many. Olivia and the other members of the Plath family have never really been able to see eye to eye. And, it seems as everyone gets older, things only get worse. Not only that, but Ethan continues to point out that Olivia has changed both politically and religiously since the couple first got together. It seems that she no longer aligns herself with beliefs he approves of.
