Olivia Lewis and Tanner Courtad are two contestants on Season 9 of Bachelor In Paradise. However, they haven’t really crossed paths romantically on the beach so far in the season.
Olivia Lewis had a brief flirtation with John Henry Spurlock until Kat Izzo came between them. She received a friendship rose from Brayden Bowers after Spurlock gave his rose to Izzo.
Bachelor In Paradise didn’t air last week due to the holidays. When the show left off on the November 16 episode, Lewis went on a date with Michael Barbour. Tanner Courtad was exploring a connection with Rachael Recchia.
According to blogger Reality Steve’s spoilers, Courtad and Lewis didn’t leave the show together, so where are the dating rumors coming from?
Courtad fueled the rumors himself by posting a photo with Olivia Lewis at a Cleveland Cavs basketball game on his Instagram Story. Bachelor Nation fans quickly jumped onto Reddit to speculate about what the photo meant.
The title of the thread incorrectly points back to Reality Steve for the rumor: “Didn’t reality Steve say they will end up together?”
Several Redditors replied to correct the assumption, noting that the blogger never mentioned Lewis or Courtad.
“Based on the previews, she’s with Michael towards the end. But it was theorized cause she kept liking his stuff that they got together at the end,” one person commented.
Another pointed out that the contestants “absolutely could not be posting together like this if they were together.”
They aren’t the only Season 9 contestants to share photos together. Sam Jeffries sparked dating rumors of her own.
What Really Happened
If Olivia Lewis and Tanner Courtad aren’t dating, why were they at a Cavs game together? It turns out they weren’t the only Bachelor Nation alums at the game that night.
Jeffries and Season 8 contestant Michael Allio were also in attendance with Lewis and Courtad. It was seemingly a promotional tactic by the Cavs.
Rhett Wennes, who is senior manager of ticket services for the team, posted to his Instagram to thank the Bachelor Nation alums for attending the game, calling them “good luck charms” after the team won over the Atlanta Hawks.
The Next Golden Bachelor?
The Bachelor In Paradise episode airing on November 30 is only one hour instead of the usual two hours. The Golden Bachelor two-hour finale is taking up the extra hour.
ABC has yet to confirm a Season 2, but could Wennes be in consideration for the role? He shared a photo with Lewis and Jeffries on his social media.
Jeffries floated the idea by resharing it on her Instagram Story with the caption “Next Golden Bachelor?” at the top of the photo.
