Deborah Roberts Shares Concerning Al Roker Hospital Photo

Deborah Roberts took to Instagram to share a concerningly frail hospital photo of her husband Al Roker. Fortunately, the photo was no real cause for concern. In fact, she clarified in the caption it was a photo in celebration of “Flashback Friday.” It, however, was a photo of Al Roker that fans had not seen before. So, it was a bit difficult for fans to see him looking so frail.

Deborah penned in a caption she added to a new photo about seven hours ago: “Friday flashback. What a difference a year and a whole lotta blessings make! #thankful beyond words @alroker #grateful #heart.”

Turns out, the post actually contained two photos. The first was a photo of Al Roker from inside his hospital room a year ago. He had a huge smile on his face. He, however, looked extremely frail and it made fans a bit uncomfortable to see. Al Roker was wearing a hospital gown. He had several spots on his arms where IVs had been hooked up to him. His hospital bracelet could also be seen on one of his wrists. Noticeably, Al Roker also had a pretty thick mustache on his upper lip as well.

The second was a photo of Al Roker a year after his stay in the hospital. He was rocking a brown velvet suit while attending this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade. The Today Show meteorologist had a huge smile on his face. Noticeably, he looked a lot less frail than he did a year prior in the previous photo. Check out the photo she shared below:
