‘DWTS’ Taylor Swift Night: Who Was Eliminated Tonight?
Dancing With The Stars Taylor Swift Night has just come to an end. Many fans were disappointed that DWTS didn’t use Taylor Swift’s actual recordings, but enjoyed the tribute to the pop icon nevertheless.
Now, the top five couples remain. They’re headed back to the rehearsal room to start working on their semifinal routines. And for one couple, it was the end of the line.
So who made it through to the semifinals and who said goodbye? Get the scoop here.
DWTS bids farewell to another fierce competitor
When the competition gets this far along, DWTS fans often see their favorite couples go home. The top six couples knew they had to give their performances absolutely everything they had.
The Bachelorette star Charity Lawson received high praise from judges, especially when it came to her tight lines. Carrie Ann Inaba added that she believes Charity is the cleanest dancer out of all the Season 32 competitors.
But was it enough to keep her in the competition?
This week, the top six performed their own individual routine as well as a relay dance against another couple. The winner of each relay dance won three bonus points. The results for the relay performance are as follows:
Xochitl & Val vs. Ariana & Pasha: Viennese Waltz to “Lover”
Winner: Xochitl & Val
Charity & Artem vs. Jason & Daniella: Cha-cha-cha to “Lavender Haze”
Winner: Jason & Daniella
Alyson & Sasha vs. Harry & Rylee: Jive to “Shake It Off”
Winner: Alyson & Sasha
But after all was said and done, one couple had to leave the competition. This week, DWTS sadly lost Harry Jowsey and Rylee Arnold.
Although the judges admitted they made a dramatic improvement with their Rumba to “August,” it just wasn’t enough to save them for another week.
One couple made a comeback after slipping
When DWTS Season 32 kicked off, singer Jason Mraz and his partner Daniella Karagach were definitely frontrunners. Mid-season, their scores slipped a bit, leaving many fans wondering if they were nearly finished. Fortunately, the pair regrouped and came back better than ever for Taylor Swift Night.
Jason and Daniella ended up scoring a perfect 40/40 for their Argentine tango to “Don’t Blame Me” and really impressed the judges. On top of that, they won their relay dance and earned an additional three bonus points, putting them at the top of the leaderboard. Could they come back and win the Mirrorball Trophy once and for all?
Now, the night is done and the final five couples are headed into the semifinals. Who do you think will make it to the Dancing With The Stars Season 32 finale? Who will take home the Mirrorball Trophy? Share your ideas in the comments.
