Ree Drummond’s Daughter Shares 1st Outing With New Baby Sofia, Pic
The Pioneer Woman star Ree Drummond absolutely loves seeing her infant granddaughter explore the world. Baby Sofia won’t remember these milestone moments, but her family certainly will.
Not long ago, Ree’s daughter and son-in-law took Sofia to her first rodeo. More recently, the family opted for another special outing.

Ree Drummond’s Daughter & Granddaughter Spend Time Out & About
Now that Sofia is a few months old, her parents Mauricio and Alex Scott are eager to show her the world. Of course, this includes several visits to Ladd and Ree Drummond’s Oklahoma ranch.
But even shorter trips can be exciting for the little family of three.
Having a newborn at home isn’t always easy and doesn’t afford new parents many opportunities to get out. However, the Scott family recently took a family trip to Trader Joe’s. Alex Drummond Scott felt excited to visit the grocery and bring Sofia for the first time.
“Her first time at TJ’s,” Alex captioned a photo from her Instagram stories. The photo features her daughter sound asleep in her carrier while Alex and Mauricio browse the cheese section.
“Trying to eat at home more because it feels like we have been eating out nonstop since we had her,” Alex added.
Of course, having a celebrity chef in the family will certainly come in handy here. Alex and Mauricio won’t have any difficulty coming up with dinner ideas after talking with Ree.
The Celebrity Chef Loves Living Life As A Grandmother
Being a mother and celebrity chef were two of Ree Drummond’s greatest achievements in life. But now, she’s having a blast exploring this new chapter. Fans can clearly see how much her life has changed for the better since welcoming Sofia.
On Instagram, the Food Network star has enjoyed sharing updates and glimpses of life as a grandmother.
“When your firstborn has a baby that looks exactly like she looked, you get to relive all the delicious feelings of first-time motherhood, but without the sleep deprivation, hormones, and confusion,” Ree captioned a recent post. “I didn’t think I was ready yet to cross over to the granny side of the street, but Lord in Heaven…I am loving it and I’m so grateful for this gift.”
