Season 4 had a very happy ending for Tammy Slaton. Not only did she get to have her weight loss surgery but she fell in love. She met Caleb Willingham at her rehab and it was an instant connection. Within weeks, he knew she was the one and popped the question. She was thrilled to share the news with her family who was very shocked. However, Tammy did not care because this was what she wanted so she asked them to help plan her perfect wedding in the rehab center. That was where they met and so many important people were still residents so it only made sense.
Soon enough, Tammy was able to leave and go home. She kept losing weight and living her best life while Caleb was stuck in the facility. It seemed like she and Caleb were moving further apart as she was growing as a person. Sadly, he ended up passing away this summer at the age of 40 and it broke Tammy’s heart. Fans were concerned she would backslide but she still looks amazing.
Now, Tammy Slaton is taking the time to send a sweet message to her late husband on a very special day. It would’ve been their one-year wedding anniversary but that is not lost on the 1000-Lb. Sisters star.
Of course, fans were very supportive of her and how she was feeling. It seemed as if Tammy and Caleb were on the rocks when he passed away. However, that does not take away from the fact that this was someone who genuinely loved Tammy and made her feel special. Viewers and fans may get some more answers when the show returns for Season 5.
Coming Back
Filming for Season 5 of 1000-Lb. Sisters has long been talked about with some fighting and such having happened. Yet, now there is an official premiere date set, December 12th, and a trailer. It does show that Tammy Slaton gets to leave rehab. Unfortunately, her husband Caleb cannot which is a huge setback. There was filming of them mourning his passing but that footage may come in time. It will be interesting to see Tammy leaving but what happens to her marriage in the days and months after.
