Now That Hallmark’s ‘Ride’ Is Canceled, When Will ‘WCTH’ Season 11 Premiere?
This week, Hallmark fans were surprised to learn that Ride was canceled. However, Hearties are now pondering what this means for the WCTH Season 11 premiere. Why would this make a difference?
Before this year, the long-running Hallmark series generally premiered in the late winter or early spring. However, this year When Calls The Heart Season 10 did not premiere until late July.

When Will WCTH Season 11 Premiere Now That Ride Is Canceled?
WCTH Season 10 ended in mid-October on a major cliffhanger. Elizabeth had dumped Lucas, who, in turn, won the election. However, Governor-elect Bouchard was in serious trouble. The final episode, “Long Time Running,” showed Bill, Elizabeth, and Nathan headed off to help Lucas. Do Hearties have to wait until late July to see what happens?
Maybe not. Now that Ride has been canceled, there suddenly seems to be an open slot for When Calls The Heart Season 11 to premiere earlier. Hallmark will be premiering The Way Home Season 2 in winter. They premiered Season 1 in mid-January. Could Hallmark decide to repeat that success?
That is certainly possible. The Way Home was one of the top five shows on cable, earning a legion of young viewers to the network. Hallmark had premiered Ride in late March, hoping to gain momentum for the rodeo drama. This meant that When Calls The Heart premiered in late July, after Christmas in July.
Now that Ride is gone, could Hallmark move up the premiere of the long-running series? That seems possible, that is, if the network is not premiering a new series. As the SAG-AFTRA strike was resolved less than two weeks ago, it seems unlikely that they have a new show brewing this year.

Hearties Ready For Early When Calls The Heart Season 11 Premiere
One thing is for sure, Hearties would like to see WCTH Season 11 premiere earlier. They could see what happens with Lucas Bouchard now that he is governor but no longer engaged. Also, Team Nathan fans are anticipating a reunion between the teacher and the Mountie, especially after Erin Krakow’s most recent social media post.
One Heartie summed up the current situation. “Well I guess the likelihood of the show airing in Apr-Jun slot has increased…unless HM has a new series up its sleeve.”

What Should Hearties Expect In WCTH Season 11?
No matter when Hallmark premieres WCTH Season 11, Hearties will be happy to take a trip back to Hope Valley. This season promises a wedding. In addition, fans of the series will see the aftermath of the election for Governor. But where will the new governor reside? Chris McNally is expected back, therefore, there could be an unexpected twist.
