Teen Mom fans saw that Jenelle Evans and her mom, Barbara clashed ever since they first appeared on MTV. The truculent teen gave her mom a very difficult time when she was younger and they never seemed to stop fighting. Now that she’s in her 30s Barbara’s daughter seems to think that her straight-talking mom is abusive.
Teen Mom Jenelle Evans Accused Of Being A Terrible Mother
2023 brought Jace, the son of Andrew Lewis right into the spotlight again. Everyone who watched the MTV show knows that the mother and daughter bickered over his custody for years. And, they felt that the older half-brother of Kaiser and Ensley was in a good place under his grandmother’s care. However, Barabara handed custody to her daughter this year, who seemed delighted.
Jenelle Evans’ joy didn’t last very long, because Jace kept running away from home. The third time that he ran, he allegedly claimed that David Eason assaulted him. Ever since then, his birth mom has ranted and raged about Barbara, claiming that she’s telling lies about her family. Actually, most MTV fans think that if anyone is in denial or lacking self-awareness, it’s the younger woman.
You know what’s kinda comical? If Jenelle decided to leave David, she couldn’t go back to Barbs anymore because she can’t be around Jace and Ensley unsupervised. She’ll have to find somewhere to go without any money or connections…those are some big consequences 🤷🏽♀️

Jenelle Evans Is A Victim?
Recently, a voice recording of Barbara calling her daughter surfaced on social media. At the moment it’s believed that Jace is living with Barbara again. Rumors suggested that he was a bit too much for his grandma to handle. But, like it or not, she’s got him back again. Hopefully, he settles down in her care. In fact, many Teen Mom fans feel sorry that she has to cope with kids at her age.
The conversation about Jenelle Evans possibly thinking she’s the victim of a terribly nasty and abusive mother came on Reddit. There, an OP shared a recording of Baraba calling her daughter. The caption said:

Basically, the video revealed MTV’s Barbara yelling at Jenelle because she had put herself first. She said:
You know Jenelle, you are such a piece of sh-t of a mother!” You could not even wait! You knew I was coming to give the kids those Easter things I got them. How ungrateful are you? You put yourself in front of your kids all the time. Now, they gotta wait a whole week to get them. How dare you do this? This is going to turn up in court because I’m going to tell them what kind of a mother you really are.

In the Reddit comments, almost everyone thought that Barbara wasn’t being abusive and Jenelle Evans wasn’t a victim:
- Barb spitting straight facts 👏🏼 she sounds so hurt and fed up. We see a lot (sic) of Jenelle’s sh-t parenting, but imagine how much we don’t see that Barb does. She must be totally done with it. This recording isn’t even half as bad as all the recordings we have heard of Jenelle and David.
- It’s so classic Jenelle that she’s screaming Barbara is abusing her in this when all it sounds like to me is an upset grandma who wasn’t allowed to give her grand babies their Easter gifts. She’s so selfish.
- Was this meant to prove Barbara unfit?? All it shows is Barbara cares more about her grandkids than Jenelle does.
Others felt that poor Barbara seems unlucky having to deal with such a toxic situation at her age when she should be taking life easy.
