‘MBFFL’ Whitney Way Thore Gets Skeptical Viewers Over ‘Illness’
Whitney Way Thore seems to have a lot of health problems but TLC fans also think that the My Big Fat Fabulous Life star is an attention-seeker. So, they wondered if she acted out when she was rescued from a Swiss mountain. Was she really ill? If so, what could have gone wrong? Find out what MBFFL fans think about it.
MBFFL Whitney Way Thore Gets Skeptical Viewers
In Season 11 on TLC, MBFFL, fans saw that Glenn Thore put a trip to Switzerland on his bucket list after the funeral of his wife Babs. His kids floated the idea to him because he moped around in misery as he mourned his wife. However, the trip didn’t go as planned and an adventure on a mountain went south.
Whitney Way Thore battled with health problems in the past. Once, she revealed that her PCOS caused her periods to stop. Plus, she struggles with mental health. Obviously, she also struggles a bit because she weighs in at larger than average. On vacation with her dad and her brother, she panicked and claimed that she had to get off the mountain immediately. However, some viewers are skeptical.

My Big Fat Fabulous Life – Whitney Way Thore Falls Ill?
A teaser for the TLC show revealed that Glenn’s daughter told her guide that she felt “very sick” and that her head was “killing” her. Additionally, she talked about how they had to “get off the mountain.” An OP on Reddit shared the clip and asked:
The ER visit? next episode. Covid? Altitude sickness?
Some skeptical My Big Fat Fabulous Life fans think it’s all just drama by an adult behaving like a toddler, seeking attention.
- I knew she was going to pull something..it’s all about her. She wasn’t going to let the other family members…get the attention, she had to think of a way to…reel the trip back to her..and it will work to her advantage.
Whitney Way Thore possibly didn’t have covid, but the entire party might have had to evacuate because of the thin mountain air that caused altitude sickness. According to Healthlink British Columbia, the symptoms include “headaches,” “confusion,” “dizziness,” and more. In fact, if the symptoms become severe, people can struggle to breathe and it can become “deadly.”

MMBFL Star Acting Out?
Whitney Way Thore might have gone up the mountain too fast. The website explains:
Air is “thinner” at high altitudes. When you go too high too fast, your body cannot get as much oxygen as it needs. So you need to breathe faster. This causes the headache and other symptoms of altitude sickness.
Notably, anyone can get altitude sickness. Was she acting out? Well, it’s not clear yet. Typically though, it would be Whitney who got it this time.
What do you think about Whitney Way Thore getting taken off the mountain by a rescue helicopter? Do you agree that she possibly suffered from altitude sickness? Do you think she acted out to seek attention? Or, did her blood oxygen drop and medics could monitor that? Share what you think in the comments below.
