June’s Kids Pumpkin & Honey Boo Boo Collab On New Business
Mama June’s daughters, Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird and Alana ‘Honey Boo’ Thompson are collaborating on a new business. The family tends to promote a lot of the same products via social media. Yet, this seems to be something that they are doing solely on their own. Of course, there is a little more to it. Read on for more details.
June’s Kids Pumpkin & Honey Boo Boo Collab On New Business
It is no secret that Mama June and her whole family are hustlers. Pumpkin stays up late at night to sell goodies to whoever will watch and buy. She has even been called out for neglecting her children as they beg for attention just so she can go live. Then, there’s her younger sister, Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson who was told to use her name to get the things she wanted senior year. She took advantage of that for senior portraits and such. More so, she offers to promote small businesses and has been seen selling pricey items she no longer needs.
Now, she and Pumpkin have teamed up for a new business, according to Meaww. They opened a company called Sisters Closet, where they screenprint items. This seems like a pretty good idea for fans of the girls and their show to get custom goodies made by the sisters. However, the girls appear to need more help so Pumpkin has posted a job listing on her Facebook page. Unfortunately, what she is commanding of a new hire has some up in arms. Here’s what the listing says, per Pumpkin:
At first glance, this does not seem that bad as most jobs require lifting 50 pounds. Yet, she and Honey Boo Boo only ask for 20. That was not a big issue as the red flag was overtime. Another person questioned why Pumpkin needed to seek outside help when she has people in her life who do not work. They pointed fingers at her husband, Josh Efird whose debit card was notoriously declined last season on Family Crisis.
More Issues?
Another follower added this when it came to the ad which may or may not be true:
- “‘Willing to work overtime and weekends’ basically means we’ll schedule you about 20 hours if you’re lucky but you’ll never know what days you’ll be off and the schedule will get posted late and don’t count on getting all your money.”
There was also the concern about Pumpkin wanting someone part-time yet the willingness to work overtime. It was a lot of demands along with mixed messages. As for Honey Boo Boo, she will probably play more of a part when and if she comes home for the holidays. Fans asked if this was a local job and Pumpkin shared it was for now. So, odds are she is doing most of the work for the time being. Aside from this, many were proud of her and her sister for launching their own business and hoped it would thrive.
Does this seem like the kind of job you would want or is it a little sketchy? Let us know in the comments below.
