Clayton Echard & Susie Evans Split Revisited
Clayton Echard and Susie Evans found love on Season 26 of The Bachelor, but it was messy getting there. After he revealed that he was intimate with both Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia during the Fantasy Suite dates, Evans left the show.
Her departure was short-lived. She returned for the finale, only to turn down Echard’s final rose. But that wasn’t the end of their love story. They reunited after filming and had been secretly dating while the season played out on television.
While they were never engaged, they dated for six months before going their separate ways. Fans are currently questioning her closeness with Bachelor Nation alum Justin Glaze.
In August 2023, Clayton Echard found himself in the middle of a huge public scandal after news broke that an anonymous woman filed a lawsuit claiming he was the father of her unborn twins.
Latest On Paternity Suit Drama
The Bachelor star publicly denied fathering any children with his one-time hookup. He agreed to a paternity test and claims it shows he’s not the father, but she claims the results were inconclusive. The two are currently locked in a legal battle, though Echard did recently get a major win against the petitioner.
Newly released court documents bolster his claim that he isn’t the father.
I just want to point out what complete clowns these guys are. Rachel was ready to ride or die for Clayton & look where he is now. Brayden dropped the ball on #BachelorInParadise And yes,, she was in black. https://t.co/uQxdOjKIg5

Susie Evans Subtly Supports Clayton Echard Amid Paternity Lawsuit?
Despite appearing as the lead of ABC’s lucrative Bachelor franchise, Clayton Echard didn’t have the money to fund a legal defense against the lawsuit. He reached out to Bachelor Nation fans with a GoFundMe. Created by blogger Dave Neal, the fundraiser has reached over $7,000 in donations.
Among Echard’s biggest supporters is Bachelor spoiler guru Reality Steve. He’s been providing updates on the legal proceedings. While updating fans on Twitter about a recent court appearance by Echard and the anonymous woman, Reality Steve called out Bachelor Nation alums for staying silent on the situation.
“For the record, outside of Dave Neal, Susie Evans, and myself, NO ONE in Bachelor Nation with a platform has come to Clayton’s defense during any of this case,” he wrote in a tweet.
One Bachelor Nation fan agreed and specifically named Nick Viall as someone who has the platform to speak out but has chosen not to.
Another fan asked how Susie Evans came to her ex’s defense. Someone replied that she contributed to the GoFundMe.
After looking at the names listed on the GoFundMe, there is a Susan Evans. Other Bachelor Nation alums who have donated include Blake Horstmann and Michael Allio.
Of course, there’s always the possibility that someone donated using Evans, Horstmann, or Allio’s names.
