In early July, it broke that Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky had separated. They denied this but did confirm they had the hardest year of their nearly thirty years together. There were also rumors that Kyle had been having an affair with country singer, Morgan Wade. Yet, infidelity rumors about Mauricio had been running rampant for years. Then, he was cast in Season 32 of DWTS and paired with Emma Slater. The two were quickly linked and eventually, Mauricio and Kyle confirmed they had split. However, she still supported him on the show. The Season 13 trailer of RHOBH showed the severe breakdown of their marriage.
As DWTS went on, Emma and Mauricio were seen out holding hands and kissing. Even Kyle felt there was more to the relationship than just a friendship or dance partnership. Now it appears that Mauricio has moved on. According to Page Six, he was recently spotted out with a mystery blonde woman. Apparently, he was in Austin, Texas at Soho House but he was not alone. Per a source: “He was all over her. There was no kissing, but they were getting very close.” It must be noted that they were in fact with a group so she could be someone who works for The Agency.
The source also added: “He was flirting with her and holding her hand at one point. They were whispering to each other. He had his arm behind her. They were definitely having fun together and she was into it. They left together with the group.” Mauricio Umansky was voted off DWTS the week of Halloween though he had a decent run. His chemistry with Emma was recognized and Carrie Ann Inaba felt it had been there for a while.
No Romance
Despite looking happy and cozy, Mauricio Umansky and Emma Slater denied that there was anything going on between the two of them. They said that they were just very good friends and nothing more. However, while Kyle Richards was away at BravoCon, the duo was spotted out on the town with his arm around her. It does seem that the ship has sailed and he is living his life as a fully single man. Kyle did use the word “divorce” on a panel so it appears they might be headed that way for sure.
