‘Live’ Kelly Ripa Disses Mark For His Prize Choices
Live with Kelly and Mark host Kelly Ripa dissed the prizes that Mark Consuelos gives to winners in the Trivia segment of the morning talk show. Now called Stump Mark, quite a lot of people take home prizes. Usually, it’s a coffee mug. Originally, she and Ryan Seacrest gave them away, but her husband wanted to make people work for their mugs.
Live Kelly Ripa Named The Trivia Segment For Mark Consuelos
Mark arrived to co-host the talk show with his wife after Ryan Seacrest left. Initially a temp, he soon became the official co-host, despite concerns that it might impact their marriage. Kelly felt that nobody wanted to watch a husband and wife team on the show. And, many viewers agreed. However, ABC insisted that Mark would help boost the ratings.
Live with Kelly and Mark fans soon saw that Mark wanted some changes, and Kelly Ripa gave him that privilege. During controversy over her frequent absences from the show, and pre-recorded episodes, a change was announced. From that moment on, the Trivia game would be known as Stump Mark. Well, he was honored with that as well as getting to say people should compete for mugs. So, viewers were a bit shocked by the concessions made so soon after his arrival.

Live Kelly Ripa Disses Trivia Prizes
During Live with Kelly and Mark recently, a fan named Vicky Perrone competed in the Stump Mark segment. The Sun‘s report reminded fans of the show that Mark Consueloes “has to guess…true statements correctly within 60 seconds. However, if Mark’s unable to, then the guest caller involved in the game wins.” Before starting, the announcement came that there were two prizes up for grabs.
Kelly Ripa seemed underwhelmed by the prizes. One was the usual coffee mug, and the other was a black tee with Mark’s face on the front and the words, “I Stumped Mark.” At the rear, “was a pic of Kelly posing as she came out of the Live mug.” When Mark told the contestant that they generously gave away two prizes if she won, his wife chimed in by saying, “[The] stuff that dreams were made of.”
Mark And His Wife Get Some Critics
Kelly Ripa took a lot of heat when she and her husband pre-recorded Live with Kelly and Mark. Fans were quick to spot mistakes and call them out. Then, in the Stump Mark segment, some people think that he is a sore loser.
