Gerry Turner’s Final Two Revealed
The November 2nd episode of The Golden Bachelor ended in a cliffhanger, as Gerry Turner broke down and paused the rose ceremony before eliminating one of the three women left.
Theresa Nist, Faith Martin, and Leslie Fhima survived multiple rose ceremonies to wind up as Turner’s final three. He did give Fhima a rose, but the 72-year-old widower became overwhelmed with emotion when it came time to hand out the last rose.
The episode ended in a cliffhanger. Bachelor Nation fans hotly debated who should get the rose – Theresa Nist or Faith Martin.
All was revealed during the Nov. 9th Women Tell All episode. Gerry Turner gave the rose to Theresa Nist, sending Faith Martin home. The Golden Bachelor previously riled fans in an earlier episode by telling both Martin and Fhima that he loved them.
Due to the upcoming holiday, the Golden Bachelor finale won’t air until November 30th.
Pickleball Tournament Date Card
One of Gerry Turner’s most beloved activities is to play pickleball. In a GQ feature from September 2023, he said that he plays the trendy sport for nine hours a week.
In Indiana native loves pickleball so much that the producers incorporated it into a date during The Golden Bachelor. Ellen, Sandra, Susan, Nancy, April, Theresa, Kathy, and Faith were all part of the group date. Season 1 Bachelorette Trista Sutter and Season 28 Bachelor Joey Graziadei made appearances during the tournament.
The women teamed up in pairs for a chance to win a cover shoot with Gerry Turner for InPickleball magazine. Ellen and Kathy were the winners, thanks to Ellen’s experience on the court.
Gerry Turner’s Pickleball Coach Predicts Golden Bachelor Winner
Everyone has an opinion on who will earn Gerry Turner’s final rose, including his pickleball coach. Katherine Hedden had a chance to play pickleball with Gerry Turner shortly before The Golden Bachelor premiere. The two played at CityPickle in Long Island City, New York.
The pickleball coach recently spoke to the U.S. Sun about her impression of Gerry Turner and how that informs her prediction of his final choice.
According to Hedden, Turner was “very charming” during their time on the court. After watching him on the ABC show, she said he was “more personable” in real life than on TV.
“The show, to me, feels more staged than he was here,” the pickleball coach said.
During her time on the court with Turner, Katherine Hedden believes she got a sense of what he’s looking for in a partner. “I think the one that’s going to win is the one that’s the most natural, most down to earth,” she said.
Is that Theresa Nist of Leslie Fhima? Hedden predicts that the Minnesota native, Leslie Fhima, will be the final rose winner and who Gerry Turner ends up with.
