The longtime Today host revealed some exciting news regarding a career opportunity that allows her to make some real connections.

Hoda Kotb’s career has been anything but boring so far. After getting her big break on Dateline in 1998, Kotb has been a familiar face on national TV for 25 years. Kotb has even covered some of the most important news stories of the 21st century. She was on the ground in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in 2005. She’s also been inside active warzones while reporting on conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. So it’s safe to say that she has seen a thing or two.

And now, thanks to her podcast, she has heard a thing or two.

Hoda Kotb Is Making The Most Out Of Her Opportunity

On November 9, it was announced that Kotb’s podcast Making Space with Hoda Kotb is returning for another season. Fans will be able to catch new episodes starting next week. The first two episodes of the popular podcast will be available on Wednesday, November 15.

Kotb has offered a quick glimpse into what fans can expect from the fourth season of Making Space with Hoda Kotb. She revealed that celebrities like Rainn Wilson, Erin Andrews, and Maria Menounos are set to make appearances throughout her new season. She has also announced that music icon Melissa Etheridge will be featured on the podcast as well.

“This is my favorite season so far,” Kotb told her co-host Jenna Bush Hager while filming Today With Hoda and Jenna. “We have such an eclectic group of people, but every person kind of surprised me. Whenever I sit across somebody who I think I know, I realize I know nothing about them. I’ve read about them, I know their story, and I know zero because you get to live one life. The life lessons that these guys have is incredible.”

Where Hoda Kotb Finds Her Inspiration

Making Space with Hoda Kotb was first introduced on September 20, 2021. Kotb says that the podcast was created to give listeners a chance to make space in their lives to be uplifted and find happiness. While speaking about her podcast during an episode of Today, Kotb was more than happy to share her sources of inspiration.

“I like to get life advice from people. People who’ve lived incredible lives. Who are great life coaches, and that’s what this is,” Hoda said. “So I’ve been interviewing people, and I’m not kidding, I have a notepad next to me while they’re talking and giving life advice.”

The podcast has been marketed as a show with “inspiring guests who share personal stories of perseverance and triumph.” In the podcast’s premiere episode, author Suleika Jaouad detailed her experience surviving a deadly cancer diagnosis. She also spoke about what she learned from her journey, battling cancer, something Kotb knows all too well.
