‘RHONY’ Brynn Whitfield Clarifies Status With Austen Kroll

Brynn Whitfield was a single lady during her first season of the RHONY reboot. She had a lot of fun but she knows what she wants. While appearing on WWHL with Andy Cohen, she made it clear that she had a thing for Southern Charm star Shep Rose. He was single after his breakup with Taylor Ann Green so it was perfect. When BravoCon came around, it looked like they would finally have their chance to get together. Brynn revealed that she was having drinks with Shep and the audience was thrilled. Yet, there was one catch- she also invited Austen Kroll.

There has been some drama during Season 9 of Southern Charm as Austen hooked up with Taylor just two months after she split with Shep. Luckily, they hashed it out and are fine again. At BravoCon, Brynn was then seen with Austen so did sparks fly? According to Page Six, the RHONY star shed some light as to what her status is with the Charleston guy about town. “Not dating Austen, [but] he’s very sweet,” she explained. The thirty-six went on to make light of the situation.

“We’re not filming [‘RHONY’] anymore, so if I can’t stir the pot in New York anymore, I’ve got to stir the pot in Charleston.” There’s clearly enough drama in both places but a crossover could be fun. So, what about Shep? He was flattered by what she had said, so much so that they started chatting on social media prior to BravoCon. “I sent her a nice message — a very benign nice message — ‘Thank you, look forward to meeting you,’ and she’s like, ‘Yeah, me too,’” Rose noted. Seems the feelings of lust fizzled after cocktails but she did have fun at least.

New York To Charleston

If Brynn Whitfield and Austen Kroll did decide to give it a shot, they would not be the only New York/Charleston couple. Paige DeSorbo resides in the Big Apple whereas Craig Conover is a Charleston faithful. He has built his dream home for them and their future family. Though she said she is not ready to get engaged, he shared her tune may have changed. Since both of their families were in Vegas for BravoCon, Paige suggested they just get married right then and there. It did not seem to have happened but what a fun twist.
