CSI, My Sister’s Keeper Star, Evan Ellingson Dead At 35

Sadly, Evan Ellingson hasn’t been seen on the big screen in over a decade. That, however, didn’t stop people from falling in love with him thanks to his recurring role in CSI and his role in the 2009 drama called My Sister’s Keeper.

According to TMZ, his body was found in the bedroom of his San Bernardino County over the weekend. At this time, his cause of death has not been released. Officials, however, did tell TMZ that foul play is not suspected to be involved in his passing.

Speaking to TMZ, the young actor’s father shares that he was actually in a sober living home at the time of his passing. Sadly, Evan Ellingson had a rocky past struggling with drug addiction. His family, however, shares he was doing a lot better. So, his death came as a total shock.

How Fans Will Remember Him

Evan Ellingson’s most memorable role is starring beside Cameron Diaz in My Sister’s Keeper. In the 2009 film, he played Cameron’s on-screen teenage son. He will also be remembered for his recurring role as Kyle Harmon in CSI: MiamiOver the course of three years, Evan starred as Kyle in 18 different episodes.

Despite being young and having a short life, Evan Ellingson had 20 credits on his acting resume per IMDb.

Evan was just 13 when he kicked off his career in acting. He landed a small guest role in General Hospital. He went on to land appearances in TV shows including TitusMad TV, Complete Savages, Bones, and 24. Above all, he was best known for his character in My Sister’s Keeper. However, he acted in other films. Other movies on his resume included:

His final acting credit on his resume was CSI: Miami back in 2010.

In his death, he leaves behind his 15-year-old daughter, Brooklynn Ellingson. Furthermore, he had his daughter the same year his brother passed away. Per IMDb, his brother Austin also struggled with drugs and passed away from an overdose back in 2008.

His final post on Twitter was in July of this year. However, the post was simply of him saying hello to his followers with a “hey” and a smiley face.

Tributes have begun to pour in on social media as his fans mourn his tragic and untimely passing.

  1. They did it all wrong when they got rid of their shows. I was loving it. I wanted to see every bitch of what was gonna happen to Leavitt at a cliffhanger on both pisses us all off making us not wanna watch any of the shows on this network again just like CW and what they’ve done to it
