‘Southern Charm’ Craig Conover Responds To Nasty Scene
Southern Charm Craig Conover’s ex Naomie Olinda made nasty comments about Craig’s sewing and in particular his pillow making. On a recent episode of Reliving Reality Craig had to rewatch the scene where Naomi tears him down.
Craig Responds
Naomi Olindo’s Jab at Craig Conover left the star feeling sad. He states he is the only one who sees “his vision”. Craig says, “It’s just funny how I really was the only one that saw that vision. People were so passionate about my life that weren’t me, I never understood it.”
During the episode of Reliving Realty Craig was able to laugh at Naomi Olinda telling him all he does is “sit around and sew and pretend to do things.” Craig responds by questioning what is wrong with his sewing. This reply has quickly become part of his motto for his pillow sewing line, Sewing Down South. That moment has jumpstarted Craig’s biggest project Sewing Down South which he now enjoys with girlfriend Paige DeSorbo.
Craig Conover has admitted that the experience has been “humbling”. He says that It makes him happy. He says “I picture the store now, and all the people that get to visit on King Street in Charleston, and I’m just happy I did what I said I was going to do.”

The Pillow Guy
Despite all of the naysayers, Craig continued to follow his passion for making pillows. And quickly became Charleston’s go-to pillow man. Craig said that he loves his pillow business because it is something different. Fans will often yell at Craig “What’s wrong with my sewing?” This has quickly become the tagline for Sewing Down South. Craig says “While I never wanted to lean too much into the tagline or anything but you can find ‘what’s wrong with my sewing’ merchandise in the shop.”
Naomi Comments On The Scene.
Naomi and Craig Conover dated for three years. She has acknowledged that her behavior during the iconic scene was less than desirable. She has expressed that she was out of line. However, Naomi is happy that the argument was able to motivate Craig to pursue his business. Which has given him so much purpose. Naomi said, “I just think it’s really good for him”. Naomi sounds happy for Craig after moving on from the relationship.
