Snoop Dogg’s Daughter Opens Up On Surviving Stroke
Snoop Dogg’s daughter Cori Broadus was planning her wedding to fiance Wayne Duece in January when she suffered from a severe stroke. Cori was only 24 years old when she had her stroke. Broadus’s family, including her famous father, rushed to her side in the hospital. She did survive, however she had a very difficult recovery. Cori recently opened up about what her recovery journey looked like.
Snoop Dogg’s Daughter Shares Journey To Recovery After Stroke
Snoop Dogg’s daughter Cori Broadus suffered a major stroke at the age of 24 years old. She has had a difficult recovery as she moves on with her life after this health scare. Broadus who recovers from Lupus and depression has recently opened up to fans about what her life has been like since her stroke. She said “I was celebrating at a party, and then the next day, I’m in the hospital. It’s hard for me to revisit that day.” Cori expressed that the event has brought her closer to her family.
Snoop’s daughter has been able to look on the bright side of her stroke. She expressed that it has improved her relationship with her family. She said “You know, a stroke is no joke. It brought me and my family closer, [seeing] that anything can happen in a snap of a finger.” The support of her family has helped her to recover from her health condition. Her father said:
“Cori is very open in showing her truth, whether it’s talking about her struggles with mental health or her stroke. Most people wouldn’t feel comfortable sharing their experiences, but she wants to help people by showing that they are not alone. She’s shown me to lead with love and strength.”

Cori Broadus Moves On
Cori Broadus has recovered from her stroke and is moving on. She is a singer/songwriter and entrepreneur. Cori is the founder of Choc Factory Cosmetics. She has continued to plan her wedding to her fiance Wayne Duece. Cori shared what life has been like for her in a three-part docuseries called Snoop Dogg’s Fatherhood: Cori and Wayne’s Story. The docuseries chronicles the time up to Broadus’ wedding to Duece.

Cori Broadus shared that her dad has been more protective of her since her stroke. Snoop Dogg said “I just let her know I was there for her. We made sure she had the best medical care, but most importantly, it was about letting her know that we were by her side no matter what.” Corey who was appreciative of her family’s support expressed that she is more appreciative of life after surviving her stroke.
