‘Summer House’ Lindsay Hubbard Discusses Carl Radke Split

With love in the air, Lindsay Hubbard found herself staring at Carl Radke as he proposed in August 2022. It seemed like a perfect match for the stars of Summer House as the pair never shied away from the spotlight. At least until their fall wedding approached this year and news broke that the couple called off their wedding. As rumors circulated after Radke released a statement to guests and family, Hubbard took time to deal with the fallout of their failed relationship until recently when she discussed the split and how shocked she was about the news.

In the statement written by Carl Radke, he gracefully apologized for the “confusion” and suggested, “There have been a lot of false narratives and misunderstandings that have made this all the more painful but sadly at this time we are not moving forward with the wedding. The fact of the matter is Lindsay is devastated and I’m crushed with how all this transpired. I graciously ask for some patience and grace to heal and recover while we navigate this extremely difficult time.”

A Different Perspective

With many wanting details as to what exactly happened, costar Kyle Cooke chimed in, claiming they couldn’t even speak with each other without a “third party” present. He added, “It’s no secret that they’ve been in constant couple’s therapy ever since they basically started dating.”

Although Costars voiced their thoughts on the split, Lindsay Hubbard decided to discuss the events that followed and how she went through numerous stages of grief. But first, She insisted, “He blew up my entire life. I was crying, I was angry and I had to find closure on my own. Now I’m at a place where I feel really good about moving on.”

Blindsided by the news, Lindsay Hubbard explained how they had normal arguments that all couples have. Although already having a bridal shower, she recalled seeing warning signs. “It was literally the last two weeks of summer that his demeanor and tone changed. There was a lot of combativeness and aggression on his end, and I was very confused.”

Lindsay Hubbard Is Betting On Love

While it doesn’t always work out between people, Lindsay Hubbard’s red flag came when Radke decided to film the entire breakup after production already wrapped. “It would’ve been one thing if this conversation happened over the summer during the normal filming schedule. But for him to call up producers and then set up cameras and manipulate me into sitting down after we’d already wrapped is scary.”

For now, Lindsay Hubbard continues to live in their shared apartment in New York City while selling the 3.5-carat engagement ring given to her by Radke. She is also surrounding herself with close friends for support. Although hurt by the breakup. the star said she always believes in love. “I will never give up on love. I have a very big heart; I’m not going to shut myself off from somebody else who would appreciate it.”
