Rick Harrison Has Update On ‘Pawn Stars’ Season 23
The Pawn Stars trio is back for Pawn Stars Do America Season 2. However, fans of the OG may wonder when Rick Harrison, Corey Harrison, and Chumlee will stop wandering across the lower 48 and return to the World Famous Gold And Silver Pawn Shop for Season 23.
Now, Rick has shared some news on his first History series. What news did he reveal?
Rick Harrison Shares News On Pawn Stars Season 21
Rick Harrison has been on the road for most of 2023, filming Pawn Stars Do America Season 2. However, in his recent interview with TV Insider, he revealed that the trio is not going to be traveling so much for their next project.
When asked if they would do their new series internationally, Rick revealed some big news about the OG series. “People have talked about it, but I think logistics would be a nightmare. Plus, I just signed with History to do more episodes of regular Pawn Stars in Vegas. We start that in February.”
This is fantastic news! This means that the OG will be back for Season 23. Moreover, it appears that they will start filming in February 2024. That means it is likely History will start airing these new episodes later in the year.
Rick Harrison Talks About Chumlee And Corey Harrison
Pawn Stars premiered on the History Channel on July 19, 2009. With over 600 episodes filmed in 14 years, do the trio of Rick, Chumlee, and Corey get sick of each other? The patriarch of the series had a surprising answer.
We’ve always been close. We actually don’t get tired of each other. We rib each other a lot and tell jokes, but at the end of the day, we have a good time doing it.
The trio enjoys each other’s company and seem to have good attitudes. That turns out to be useful as Rick also revealed that things on the road don’t always go smoothly.
He revealed that there can be equipment problems and long, 14-hour days. Sometimes dinner is at the hotel bar because they arrive from set too late to get inside of a restaurant to eat a proper meal.
This is surely their secret to television longevity. Moreover, Rick Harrison admits that he will never retire. He is too much of a workaholic. In addition to his pawn shop, he also owns a bar. Meanwhile, Corey has 30 AirBnBs in the Vegas area, and Chumlee sells his own jerky and owns a candy shop next to Rick’s bar at Pawn Plaza.
It seems that all three like to work and continue to build their profit centers. That sounds like Pawn Stars fans will have many more episodes to look forward to in the future.
Pawn Stars Do America Season 2 is currently airing on Wednesday nights at 8 p.m., Eastern, on History.
