Former The View co-host Meghan McCain is opening up about being shaded by Ariana Madix. Apparently, the Vanderpump Rules star was less than kind when they came face to face a few months back. So, what exactly transpired between the two women? Read on for more details.

The world has seemingly been #TeamAriana since she was cheated on by her longtime boyfriend, Tom Sandoval. It was the scandal that rocked not only Vanderpump Rules and its cast but also fans of the hit Bravo reality series. More so, it became so huge that Ariana Madix was invited to the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner. It occurred in April 2023 which was one month after ‘Scandoval’ broke and she attended alongside Lisa Vanderpump as guests of the Daily Mail. The scandal was even mentioned in the opening monologue which Madix and Sandoval could not believe.
Also in attendance was Meghan McCain. According to heavy, McCain was working for the Daily Mail back in April. Therefore, her boss asked her to go to see Ariana and make her feel more comfortable. She did just that which included taking a photo with Madix and Bravo superfan, The Talk co-host Jerry O’Connell. As she retold the story on her podcast, Meghan McCain Has Entered The Chat, she shared a little detail. She had no idea this had transpired until she was contacted to speak on it. “I was so confused and shocked, so I called my boss, and I was like, ‘Just FYI, this is causing unnecessary drama.’ Also, like, I didn’t even talk to her. Like, ‘What’s happening?’” Meghan recalled. She went on to add: “Cut to, she now blocks me on Instagram. I found out on accident. I would’ve respected you if you just said, ‘I don’t f*** with Republicans, I don’t like Meghan McCain.’ Just say that. Don’t come up with this weird story and then block me afterward.”
Meghan’s Past Issues
Now, it is no secret that Meghan McCain had some issues while working on The View. When she returned from maternity leave, Joy Behar made some snarky comments that hurt the now mother of two. Even Sherri Shepherd had some nasty things to say so her time on the talk show was less than pleasant. Despite not caring for Ariana Madix anymore, McCain did really like Lala Kent, who was also a guest at the dinner. Yet, she contends that Madix was just not kind for simply no reason.
Now, as for the photo situation, that has been touched on by Madix. It was alleged that there was no ill will when uploading the snap. Rather, it was a ratio situation and with that, Meghan and her friends just happened to be the casualty. Maybe Meghan should invite Ariana onto her podcast to clear the air.
