Sandra Mason Has No Regrets During Time On ‘Golden Bachelor’
Thursday night fans saw Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner send Sandra Mason home. It was the week after she told Gerry she missed her daughter’s wedding and he seemed so impressed by that move. However, being forced to follow his heart and send three of the women home, he decided his connection with the final three ladies was stronger. So, after being sent home, Sandra reveals that she has no regrets about her time on the show. Keep reading to find out more.
Sandra Mason does not regret her time on The Golden Bachelor
Entertainment Tonight caught up with Sandra Mason after Gerry Turner said goodbye to her on The Golden Bachelor. Even though she didn’t find love with Gerry, she has no regrets about the time she spent with him and on the show.
Sandra, who is a 75-year-old retired executive assistant, shared she has zero regrets about missing her daughter’s wedding to be on the show. In fact, her daughter refused to have her miss this opportunity.
She said, “My son-in-law said to me, ‘Mom, the ceremony is eight minutes. The marriage is forever.’ He said, ‘Go. Go!’ My daughter, she said, ‘Mom, I found my guy, you go find yours.'” Sandra continued, “They were both a little perturbed that I was even considering not going because of their wedding. They’d each been married before. She’s almost 51, he’s 53. Dad, granddad. They’re just great people. He’s a jewel.”
What made her join the show?
Sandra has done all sorts of dating. She’s been single for thirty years. So now she can proudly say she’s tried many different ways to find love. She decided to apply after being a fan for years. Sandra saw the ad during Zach Shallcross’ season and decided to go for it. Her daughter even helped her fill out the application.
Sandra said her family is excited for her and cheers her on continuously. As for her, she watches and thinks of things she should have done or questions why she said something but in the end, she has no regrets.
Sandra didn’t find love with Gerry and she knows he followed his heart. She said they got along great but sadly he just didn’t fall in love with her.
She isn’t giving up on love. In fact, she is more inclined to get herself out there.
