‘Bold And The Beautiful’: What’s The Plan For Thomas?

What’s The Bold and the Beautiful planning for Thomas (Matthew Atkinson)? Concerns from Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Taylor (Krista Allen) give foreboding signs of where the script is heading.

It’s all good for now

As The Bold and the Beautiful currently shows, Thomas is grounded in the intimate relationship he has with Hope (Annika Noelle). How long it’ll last is another story.

While Hope is probably the sweetest character on The Bold and the Beautiful, she’s not the sharpest knife in the drawer. The fact she lets Thomas touch her at all considering what he’s done speaks volumes. Fans think she makes stupid choices. Though Liam (Scott Clifton) is no saint, he’s justified on this one. Thomas lied about their daughter’s death for months and that’s understandably unforgivable.

The Bold and the Beautiful is edging on switching up the Hope and Thomas storyline. Fans see it coming.

Evidently, Taylor is worried her son is playing with fire. Being the “world-renown psychologist” she is, she knows Thomas is on his way to heartbreak.

When Hope snaps out of the funk she’s in, Thomas won’t do it for her. Therefore, the Forrester designer will have a ginormous setback. All the progress he’s so proud of will diminish when Hope finishes using him.

What The Bold and the Beautiful will do with Thomas

Undoubtedly, B&B plans to revisit Thomas’ bad side…which are many. His obsession with Hope crosses too many lines to count. Remember the mannequin storyline? Creepy.

It’d be nice if The Bold and the Beautiful avoids making Thomas unlikeable again. He’s proven himself trustworthy and respectful. However, his troubling side is just under the surface. Whether it’ll be worse or the same is the only question.

Of course, Hope isn’t accountable for Thomas’ actions, but she should know better than to tempt his emotions. In several B&B episodes, Hope reasserts her feelings. Thomas claims he’s good with their arrangement, but he’s not. Deep down, he believes Hope will return his love. Unfortunately, Thomas isn’t going to be Hope’s choice. The Bold and the Beautiful is laying the groundwork for her  — and possibly Finn (Tanner Novlan) — to couple up. If not Finn, another suitor of his caliber will come along for Hope.

Will he thwart any relationship Hope pursues with another man? Will he use his son, Douglas(Henry Joseph Samiri), again to lie for him? Douglas desperately wants his mom and dad together.

Whatever the outcome, viewers will suffer through an embattled Thomas once more. It’ll be sad to watch because he’s done well mentally a while now. In the soap opera world, that’s not a long-term option.

Speculations of The Bold and the Beautiful script

Not everyone agrees that The Bold and the Beautiful will end Hope and Thomas. One article speculates that the CBS soap will have the pair continue their relationship. Without question, a number of fans also envision the lovers as a solid couple.
