‘Seeking Sister Wife’ The Winders Expecting Rainbow Baby
Former Seeking Sister Wife family, the Winders, are expanding their brood with a rainbow baby. They have shown how much kids mean to them but it has not been easy. Now, Sophie, Colton, and Tami have announced their family is growing by one more. So, which wife is pregnant, and do they know the gender? Read on for more details.
Seeking Sister Wife The Winders Expecting Rainbow Baby
When Sophie joined the Winders, Colton and Tami had already been married with a daughter, Sadie. Initially, they lived in separate homes but by their second season of Seeking Sister Wife, that all changed. Sophie was now the one expecting and they were all under one roof. She gave birth to son, Ephraim but Tami desperately wanted more children. Sadly, she struggled with fertility and her heart was very much broken. Yet, she was there for her sister wife as best as she could for her first baby.
Then, Sophie got pregnant again and they shared they were having a little girl, Isabella. Though the family was not asked back for Season 4 of Seeking Sister Wife, they understood why. Their journey was far different than the other couples and they were more about family. This was more prominent come Christmas 2022 when Tami revealed she was expecting a baby girl thanks to science. However, just a few days after that, Sophie shared she had a miscarriage. This was devastating as she and Colton were not even trying but she also wanted to be happy for her sister wife as she had been for her.

Now, it is Sophie’s turn, once again as they have taken to their social media to reveal they are expecting their rainbow baby.
“For a family in mainstream American society today, we’d be a fairly large family. In mainstream LDS society, we’d be a moderately sized family. For a fundamentalist family, we’re still tiny, and 80% of my children are daughters. Sadie was happy, but she still cried when she found out it wasn’t going to be another little brother. We’re grateful for every soul the Lord chooses to send to our family, and look forward to welcoming our next little girl that Mama Sophie will be having this coming March.”
A New Chapter
This is extremely exciting for Sophie and her whole family, especially after her miscarriage. Fans of the former Seeking Sister Wife stars were elated for them as well. They sent well wishes and blessings. More so, they were happy to see genuinely loving people have great things happen to them. It will be an amazing moment when the next little Winder makes it Earthside.
