‘On Patrol: Live’ Chief Bradley Taylor Receives Death Threat

On Patrol/Facebook

While fans of On Patrol: Live enjoy getting an up close and personal look into what it takes to be part of law enforcement, Chief Bradley Taylor captured their attention for several different reasons.

Some might enjoy Chief Taylor due to his patrol car, which is a Dodge Charger Scat Pack. Others enjoy how much he loves his family and community. Whatever the reason, the police officer’s dedication to his job is unmatched. Best known for saying, “Welcome to Arkansas, we chase the bad guys,” it seems that not everyone is a fan of the chief as he recently received some unwanted fan mail.

Working alongside his son, Trooper Gavin Taylor, with the Arkansas State Patrol, Chief Bradley Taylor’s rise to fame started before On Patrol: Live. Taking part in another reality series, Crime of the Night, the officer flawlessly performed a pit maneuver at high speeds. Given his vehicle, Chief Taylor can reach speeds of 180 MPH.

“I Will Kill Him”

Although respected by those around him, on September 23, an individual messaged the social media account of the On Patrol: Live show. In the message, the person explained how he would kill Chief Taylor if they ever met.

Later identified as 51-year-old Jason Sense, he messaged the show, “Bradley Taylor would wish that he had never come across my back bumper because I will kill him.” Not seeing the messages as just empty threats, the show quickly notified Chief Taylor, who passed the evidence on to Deputy Prosecutor Abram Skarda.

After an investigation was performed, a warrant was issued for Jason Sense for making terrorist threats against a police officer. Considered a Class D felony, Sense finds himself at the center of an investigation and facing a $10,000 bond. That doesn’t even include his trouble with his upcoming court dates.

Fans Love Chief Bradley Taylor

While Chief Bradley Taylor is able to protect himself, fans showered him with praise.

  • “Living in the same town as Chief Bradley, this man cares about his town, and people in it. For that threat to even happen is beyond me. I work with his wife, they are wonderful people!”
  • “WHAT beef could this man possibly have with the chief? Good grief, Chief Taylor is one of the most humble and mercy filled officers I’ve seen.”
  • “That guy shouldn’t be allowed back out on the streets. Hats off to you Chief Taylor! Stay safe and keep up the great work!”

Besides keeping the streets safe, Chief Bradley Taylor also helps the next generation of law enforcement. Back in September, the officer traveled to Arkansas State University to speak with the Department of Sociology and Criminology.
