Big Brother is down to the final eight houseguests leaving fans to wonder who will take home the prize. However, with the schedule for the show totally flipped around the last few weeks, some are very angry with how the season is playing out. Keep reading for more on why fans are so upset.

Big Brother fans aren’t happy

This season, Big Brother started much later than normal, resulting in a very interesting schedule when it comes to episodes airing. Normally, the show is on every Sunday and Wednesday at 8 p.m. EST and Thursday at 9 p.m. EST. However, this season things have changed quite a bit. Not only does the show air on Tuesdays instead of Wednesdays now, but the show also airs much later on Sundays. Instead of the normal 8 p.m. time, the show has been airing at 10 p.m..

Needless to say, this has caused a stir amongst fans. Several took to Reddit to discuss the changes.

“I just found out tonight’s episode doesn’t air till 10pm. Im a devoted fan I’m my 30s but my kid have school in the morning, and it’s the start of a work week, this is ridiculous. I can’t stay up till 11 watching reality tv,” the original poster writes.

They continue to explain their frustration noting the reruns that play before the episode. CBS has been airing re-runs of the show Yellowstone before playing the new Big Brother. Of course, fans are questioning why this is happening.

“Two hours of reruns, isn’t that what streaming is for, or late night programming? This makes no sense, it’s like they’re trying to get us to not watch episodes live,” they write.

Everyone agrees

Several other fans seem to agree with the OP, sounding off in the comments of the thread with their own thoughts.

  • “Absolutely. Two hours of Yellowstone reruns? Give me a break. Big brother must be very low on the cbs priority list.”
  • “After the several weeks of getting pushed back due to golf tournaments, the time changes, and the night changes, I pretty much only watch the live show when it is on and stream the episodes after they post to paramount plus.”
  • “I’m with you. My wife and I are big fans, but she’s normally passed out before it even airs so we usually watch it the next evening.”

It will be interesting to see if this trend continues next season. Or, if CBS learns their lesson from the less-than-happy viewers and puts things back to normal. For now though, fans will just have to deal with the new schedule as it seems to be the norm until the show ends next month. And, continue tuning in to see which houseguest takes home the grand prize.
