‘DWTS’ Disney 100 Night: Who Went Home?
Dancing With The Stars Disney 100 Night is over. Now, DWTS Season 32 has its top 10 couples.
The competition is still heating up! Many couples who hovered near the bottom of the leaderboard managed to pull up their scores. Likewise, one fan-favorite couple didn’t perform as well as they usually do.
Ten couples can stay in the competition for another week. But for one pair, it was the last dance.
So who went home this week?
DWTS reflects on 100 years of Disney magic
Disney Night is generally quite a bit of fun for DWTS cast members and viewers alike. Contestants get a chance to dress up as their favorite characters and perform to classic tunes.
From old classics like Fantasia to modern hits like Coco, this episode showcased 100 years of Disney.
Although singer Jason Mraz and his partner Daniella Karagach have been near the top of the leaderboard week after week, judges noted they seemed a bit uncomfortable with their number this week. After receiving 9s during Motown Night, they received three 8s for their Foxtrot. Fortunately, they earned enough votes from fans to keep them in the competition for another week.
Meanwhile, couples like reality star Harry Jowsey and his partner Rylee Arnold impressed the judges and brought up their scores quite a bit. They performed the Quickstep to “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” from Toy Story and earned a 21/30.
But who is sticking around for another week and who said goodbye?
Another couple bids the competition farewell
This year, Dancing With The Stars producers opted to eliminate the judges’ votes from the end of each episode. The reason behind the move isn’t publicly known, but many feel that it gives fans more control over the competition.
On Disney 100 Night, Adrian Peterson and Britt Stewart left the competition. They performed well during the night, even earning high praises from judges for their Viennese waltz to “Baby Mine” from Dumbo. The pair earned a 21/30 for the routine. Several of the judges said it was easily one of the most endearing routines of the night.
But sadly, it wasn’t enough to keep them safe.
They had a healthy share of support so far in the competition, but one couple did have to leave at the end of the episode. From here, the top 10 couples will advance and compete for the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy.
Were you surprised to see Britt Stewart and Adrian Peterson? leave the competition? Do you think it was deserved, or should someone else have left? Don’t forget to share what you think in the comments.
