‘OTH’ Alum Jana Kramer Ends Up In Hospital During Babymoon
On Sunday, Jana Kramer shared a harrowing experience about her recent Babymoon with her fiancé Allan Russell. The One Tree Hill alum had to be rushed to the hospital due to an unexpected predicament. Back in June, she announced that they were having a baby.
Here is the latest news on her sudden emergency that taught her an important lesson.
Pregnant Jana Kramer Visited Hospital During Babymoon
On Sunday, Jana Kramer shared on Instagram a selfie of herself hooked up to hospital monitors. Her post started, “Part one…Well. Our Babymoon didn’t go as planned but there were some lessons learned. First off and most important, baby is good♥️.”
For those friends and fans who were concerned, she later added they heard his “sweet heartbeat.” Thankfully, all is fine. It turns out she had a serious kidney infection.
The country singer then continued to share how she wound up at the hospital, instead of on the beach, when she was on her Babymoon with her fiancé Allan Russell. She shared that “for weeks,” she had back pain. She even posted on her social media that she was struggling with it.
However, the Steppin’ Into The Holiday star did not go to the doctor to have it checked up. The 39-year-old felt that this was normal. She has already had two other children. Therefore, she knew this was part of the whole pregnancy experience. Moreover, she told herself, “Don’t be a wimp.”
But she then revealed that someone else figured it out after she shared her back pain post. “Then someone very sweet in my DMs sent me a message that it could possibly be my kidney. (I’ve since thanked her for her DM💜”
One Tree Hill Alum Still Boarded Plane Despite Back Pain
Even though Jana Kramer suffered from serious back pain, she still boarded the plane. She did not want to “ruin” their planned babymoon. So, she got on that airplane and made it all the way to Florida, only to be rushed straight to the hospital. That was because she finally admitted that she “couldn’t handle the pain anymore.”
Once at the hospital, she learned what happened. “Long story short it was a bad bacterial infection that got into the kidneys.” She was stuck in the hospital for two days and was given antibiotics to fight the infection. Jana also shared a photo of her in her hospital bed, with her fiancé Allen In a pullout chair.
This was certainly not the romantic time that they had planned! She gave him a “shout-out” for being there with her instead of at their beautiful hotel. Kramer insisted that he go, but he was not about to leave her side.
Jana concluded, “Tip….Find u a man who doesn’t make u feel bad or leave ur side when ur not feeling good.” She also thanked the nurses at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Palm Beach, Florida, calling them “the sweetest.”
Lastly, the OTH star shared a photo of the couple’s one day on the beach. So, they got to spend some fun time in the sand and ocean. But this was certainly a stressful situation.
