Lifetime Announces Mario Lopez, Jana Kramer Holiday Movie
Lifetime is already starting to film their marquee It’s A Wonderful Lifetime holiday movies. Moreover, they just announced one that should have a lot of fans excited. They have paired up two Lifetime fan-favorites for one fun holiday movie.
Tentatively titled Mr. Holiday, this movie stars Mario Lopez (Feliz NaviDAD, Holiday In Santa Fe), and Jana Kramer (One Tree Hill, The Holiday Fix-Up). In addition, Mario’s real-life wife, Cortney Lopez (I Love Us, Saved By The Bell), and Cheri Oteri (Saturday Night Live, Love Virtually) also star in this holiday movie.

According to the Lifetime synopsis, former Broadway star, Billy Holiday (Lopez), returns to his hometown for Christmas. He was abruptly fired as the host-producer-judge of the hit TV series Celebrity Dance Off.
This is a public embarrassment. While he is back home, his high-powered agent, Dallas (Oteri) continues to find ways to spin this dismissal.
Life gets more complicated for Billy as he finds out who replaced him. It is Joanna (Courtney Lopez), the charismatic host of Celebrity Dance Off. Now, she is the new producer and head judge!
While there, he encounters Rae (Kramer), the charismatic owner of the local dance studio, where Billy’s 12-year-old nephew is her standout student.
This Christmas, Rae is planning a dance recital fundraiser to take her students to see a Broadway show in New York City.
Therefore, Billy volunteers to help Rae with the recital by reviving the town’s traditional Christmas Eve show which was once a showcase for local talent.
With Billy’s knack for producing and Rae’s knowledge of all things local, their collaboration clicks, and romantic sparks start flying!

Filming for the Lifetime Mario Lopez and Jana Kramer movie is soon. According to Sleepy Kitty Paw, they wrote on Twitter that they will be filming this movie soon.
A made-for-TV movie set to film in and around Nashville next month that I *think* is Christmas-set, MR. HOLIDAY, about a reality show judge who loses his job in spectacular fashion, and has to return to his small hometown.
This week, they retweeted the original tweet and linked it with the Lifetime announcement. They are filming in Nashville soon!
By the way, the Mario Lopez-Jana Kramer project listed as untitled in the Deadline story, is the movie with the working title MR. HOLIDAY, set to film soon in Nashville.
