Why Nye County Exited ‘On Patrol: Live’? Deputy Involved Shooting
On Patrol: Live fans were not happy when they learned that the Nye County Sheriff’s Office out of Pahrump, NV was parting ways with the show. This news followed on the heels of learning Weld County Sheriff’s Office out of Colorado would be joining the show.
While viewers hope Weld County can step up and feel the void left behind by Nye County, they fear the new Sheriff’s Office just won’t offer the same type of entertainment.
Now, the Nye County Sheriff’s Office did issue a statement saying goodbye to fans of the series. And, On Patrol: Live reshared the statement on the show’s official Facebook page. The statement, however, didn’t really offer a reason why. Why did Nye County decide to part ways with the show after being part of On Patrol: Live since the series premiere back in 2022?

Why Nye County Exited On Patrol: Live? Deputy-Involved Shooting
According to the Pahrump Valley Times, 67-year-old John Beaudoin was identified as the suspect shot and killed by Deputy Nicholas Huggins. It was on October 8 around 5 P.M. when deputies were dispatched to the property of John Beaudoin. Reports confirm this was one of many responses to the home over the last couple of months.
During a 911 phone call, which can be heard in the Nye County Sheriff’s Office’s briefing of the incident, John’s son felt apologetic when he called for help. His son knew his father had firearms, said things were getting “intense,” and there was a serious concern for safety. John’s son also called attention to his father being a felon and questioned whether he should legally have firearms.
After arriving at the scene, Nye County Deputy Nicholas Huggins informed John Beaudoin he was ordering a search warrant. He proceeded to explain his son told him of his firearms and described exactly where they were.

John Beaudoin Refused To Go To Jail
Going back into his home, John Beaudoin called 911 to tell his side of the story. He explained that he would shoot himself before he went back to jail.
I’m on Bunarch Road and Deputy Meyers said that he’s going to come and get me. But to tell you the truth, I’m going to kill myself before I go outside. I’m John Beaudoin, I didn’t do nothing wrong, but I’m going to kill myself before I go outside. I’m not going to jail again. You guys can have all of the s**t that I got. I don’t care no more.
Unsuccessful nonlethal measures were taken to subdue John Beaudoin. Unfortunately, Nye County Deputy Nicholas Huggins was forced to open fire on John. He opened fire after John went into the house and pointed his gun out the door.
Per standard protocol, Nye County Deputy Nicholas Huggins is on administrative leave while the situation is investigated. Unfortunately, fans believe the heat of this case is why Nye County exited On Patrol: Live.

I live in Nye County. Loved On Patrol! I could watch just to see what was going on in Pahrump! I really hope Sheriffs Office goes back to air sometimes soon.
You love CORRUPTION then and your taxes are paying for it too. Another “smart” patriot cheering on public corruption.
Nye County was my favorite department on OP Live. Please bring back soon!
Citizens are SO STUPID…
NYE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE is so corrupt the FBI had to obtain a SEARCH WARRANT and on August 4, 2022, that warrant was served and the records incriminating numerous present and past NCSO employees was seized by the FBI so they could control the information being released to the Federal Grand Jury that was convened. DAVID BORUCHOWITZ is a former corrupt Captain from that agency that was indicted last year on several felony counts and that trial is scheduled for June 2024. I have the REAL dirt and LivePD is about to get slapped with a 500 million insurance liability claim from a business that was severely damaged by actions involving LivePD actors as well as Nye County employees that violated all kinds of federal and state laws just to make a BUCK and be on the air Live so they could COLLECT ROYALTIES from the distribution of those videos. It’s a total scam and they are CREATING CRIME FOR PROFIT! These counties are BROKE now because there is so much $$$$$ theft occurring and NO ONE is saying anything! Nye County Commissioners are paid off by big money interests (MORMON CHURCH) IN Las Vegas…and SIN CITY really earned that moniker folks. Corruption is legal in THE COUNTY OF NYE….just ask any of the hoes that work there! They don’t call it Chicken country for nuthin….
Nye County Sheriffs are back on the tube. They’re currently featured on a Youtube show called ‘First responders’.
