Matt James Reveals Obscure Nickname For Rachael Kirkconnell
Love will make you do crazy things! Including coming up with pet names for each other. Now former Bachelor Matt James is revealing what he likes to call his Bachelor Nation girlfriend, Rachael Kirkconnell. Keep reading to see what he calls her and why exactly he chose that.
Matt James’ nickname for Rachel
Matt James and Rachael Kirkconnell have been together for a while now following a rocky start at the end of Matt’s season of The Bachelor. Since then, they’ve fallen more and more in love and seem truly happy together. During their time together, Matt picked up a new nickname for his special lady. After sharing an Instagram post for her birthday, he has revealed that her nickname is ‘Gamora.’
“Happy birthday Gamora 💚🎂,” he starts his post.
He continues to explain why he chose this Marvel-themed nickname for Rachael. After all, Gamora is green.
“people always ask why I have your number saved as “Gamora” and it’s a simple answer 👽❤️🙆🏾♂️ because in the most unlikely of circumstances, against all odds.. Star-Lord (me obviously) and Gamora (YOU) found each other and fell in love 🙂,” he explains.
He ends the sweet post by telling Rachael just how much she means to him.
“you’re the best part of everyday, I love you & can’t wait to create more memories with you 🐥,” he writes.

So, while the nickname could be confusing to the average person, it seems that Matt has a pretty good reason for using it on Rachael.
Matt’s mom looks for love
Matt isn’t the only one hitting reality TV to find love! His mom, Patty James, decided to try and find love on the first season of The Golden Bachelor. While she had fans across the nation rooting for her, it seems that Gerry Turner didn’t think she was the one for him. After not receiving a rose at the very first ceremony of the season, Patty was sent packing. However, all hope may not be lost for his Bachelor Nation mom.
It seems fans desperately want Patty to be the Golden Bachelorette. They even took to her Instagram post talking about her departure to express their wants.
