Caitlyn Jenner On Why She Broke With Family For Documentary
Caitlyn Jenner is taking part in a new documentary series about the Kardashians. While the rest of her family refused to take part, Jenner had a good reason to want to be part of this. She also said that she hasn’t spoken to her family about her decision to do this.

Caitlyn Jenner was there for the rise of the Kardashians in the world of reality TV. Formerly married to Kris Jenner, the father of Kylie and Kendall Jenner, and step-father of Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe Kardashian, Caitlyn wanted to protect his family. Looking at recent documentaries like Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets, it is clear this could be a hit job on the Kardashian family.
This is likely why the Kardashian women refused to take part, showing distrust in the process. However, Caitlyn said she knows how the system works and wants to be there to watch out for her family’s reputation. In an interview with The Times of London, Caitlyn said she wanted to make sure the family was represented in the right way. “I want to do my best to be very positive and really represent the family and the kids in a positive way.”
Caitlyn also said that she hasn’t spoken to members of her family about this. She said she is doing it on her own. This isn’t a surprise because Caitlyn said she doesn’t really talk to Kris Jenner at all anymore. In an interview with This Morning, Caitlyn said she never talks to her ex-wife anymore. “Kris, I really don’t have any more contact with her. It’s kind of sad, because we went through a lot, but there’s just a lot there.”

House of Kardashian is a new three-hour documentary series that asks viewers a question. Is the Kardashian family a model of how female entrepreneurs can empower the idea of women leading the way in the business world? Or, are the Kardashians a capitalistic nightmare who have changed things in society for the worse?
The only person who really matters here when it comes to the interview time is Caitlyn Jenner. This was the only way this documentary series gets inside the inner workings of the family. Other than that, the documentary series mostly talks to “friends” of the Kardashian family. Each episode looks at a different Kardashian family member, starting with Kris Jenner and then moving on to Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner. The idea is to show each different era of the family. Whether Caitlyn succeeds in painting her family in a good light remains to be seen.
