My 600-lb Life had a lot of patients who were determined to turn their lives around. However, Season 6 alum Schenee Murry was a different story. She had trouble shedding weight and failed to comply with Dr. Now’s orders. The former TLC star appeared in the show at 721 pounds. She was struggling with her daily life. Schenee only lost 91 pounds during her time on the show. But it didn’t come from a diet or exercise. She was hospitalized before going to her second appointment with Dr. Now. After getting cleared, the My 600-lb Life alum gained her weight back. She also found her journey with the surgeon too difficult and ended up quitting the show. Many were also upset when she blocked Dr. Now’s number.
Presently, the former reality TV personality has been sharing updates on her IG and YouTube pages. She claimed working on her own physical journey behind cameras. Murry has yet to share her current weight. But her photos from 2020 show that she’s still battling obesity years after the show.
Schenee Put Up A Fundraiser
Schenee launched a fundraiser to raise money for her bariatric surgery. She was able to raise enough funds for the operation. But it remains a mystery if she ever had the surgery. The former My 600-lb Life star also said that she was able to drop 300 pounds.
Schenee Murry’s weight gain began when she was young. She was sexually abused as a child and continued dealing with health problems when she became an adult. One of them is fertility issues. But she remains positive and even becomes more active on YouTube, uploading vlogs about her daily life.

Schenee has been doing livestreams and uploading vlogs on her YouTube channel. One of her recent streams was only a few days ago, where she shared a story about getting tired just by pumping at a gas station. She’s currently enjoying life as a mother and often shows her son in her streams. It also appears that she’s still struggling with her weight, though it’s no longer worse than what she looked like in Season 6. Some of her “mukbang” YouTube videos also indicate that she hasn’t made any adjustments to her diet.
