By the end of her episode, the My 600-lb Life alum had shed 246 lbs. Her last reported weight was 346 pounds. She has also maintained a healthy lifestyle after the show. The former TLC star loves to share updates about her journey on social media. In June 2020, Dr. Now’s patient uploaded a stunning photo of herself looking a lot slimmer. She has yet to upload photos this year. But it’s clear that she never went back to her eating habits after her journey in TLC.
Tamy Lyn Continues To Pursue Physical Goals
Tamy Lyn is still on a journey to shed even more pounds after the show. Many of her FB photos show that the My 600-lb Life alum has been going to the gym. She also loves to share healthy recipes. However, her journey wasn’t always smooth.
She’s still suffering from severe ankle pain and was later diagnosed with degenerative bone disease. Tamy Lyn Murrel has yet to reveal if any procedures to her ankles were done. But despite her condition, the former reality TV personality remains positive in life.

Viewers were upset when Tamy Lyn’s husband, James, cheated on her during their time on the show. But many were caught off guard when they reconciled after the episode. She also added that they were able to work things out, and the man proposed to her again.
In May 2022, Tamy Lyn Murrell shared a sweet photo from their dinner date. Despite getting back to the man who broke her heart, many still supported the decision. At this point, the former My 600-lb Life star has been living her best life as a mom and grandmother.
