As we’ve reported, Jinger Duggar Vuolo and Jill Duggar Dillard both wrote books about their family’s strict religious beliefs. The Duggars are a part of the Institute in Basic Life Principles (IBLP). In Jill’s book, Counting the Cost, she detailed the poor payment she received from her dad for her role on TLC’s 19 Kids & Counting and Counting On. She also talked about the conflicts she’s had with him over the years.
Jinger’s book, Becoming Free Indeed, focuses more on her journey away from the IBLP. But it still shows the negative side of her family’s religious beliefs. Fans assume that Jim Bob is unhappy with his kids’ books and the claims they’ve made. Despite this, they have lots of support from fans.
The father of 19 treats his family to a beach vacation.
As we reported, the Duggar family recently reunited and enjoyed a beach vacation. Many of the Duggar kids were able to make it, which isn’t an easy task with 19 kids. So far, Joy-Anna Duggar Forsyth, John-David Duggar, and Jessa Duggar Seewald have posted beach photos.
In her recent YouTube video, Joy-Anna took fans along for the ride, revealing that most of her siblings were present. Eagle-eyed fans spotted James Duggar, Jason Duggar, Joseph Duggar, and Lauren Duggar, as well as several other kids and grandkids.

Is Jim Bob Duggar seeking revenge?
On Reddit, fans are discussing the new video Joy-Anna shared and speculating that Jim Bob might be punishing Jill and Jinger by excluding them. Noticeably, they weren’t anywhere to be seen in the video and they are the ones who have spoken out against him.
By treating his family to a beach vacation while leaving out two of his daughters, it’s possible he was seeking revenge. One Duggar snarker said, “This is some toxic behavior. Some of my family members once did this to my immediate family and it was very hurtful to my dad.” Another accused Jim Bob Duggar of “punishing” Jill and Jinger. Plenty of others agree with this statement.
