‘Gold Rush’ New AI Voice Upsets Viewers, Threaten To Quit Watching
Season 14 of Gold Rush is here, but fans are really upset about something this season. A new voice is narrating and it sounds like AI. They are not happy and want this voice to go away. Some viewers are even threatening to boycott the show if this doesn’t stop.

Season 14 of Gold Rush is here and is going strong. Rick Ness has returned to the Yukon. Tony Beets lost a family member in his quest for gold and Parker is going to risk it all. It is a wild season, but that AI voice has to go. It is constantly coming on and narrating the show.
Fans Upset Over New Narrator
Fans of Gold Rush went to Twitter tonight to share their thoughts on this new AI narrator and they are not happy at all. Here is what they had to say about it.
- Can you please stop the annoying AI voice-over! And fire the person who made the decision to add it!

It does sound like Gold Rush is going to lose a lot of viewers if they don’t change this and soon. So far, they haven’t said anything about plans to get rid of the AI narration.

Totally annoying!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don’t know how much of this “voice” I can take. They’ve ruined this show and have done the same with Deadliest Catch. I can’t stand it!!
UNBELIEVABLE! As Tony would say, “If it ain’t broke then don’t F****N try to fix it!” What is this children’s reading hour at the public library? I will watch episode 3, but if this AI VOICE is still there “I QUIT”!
Yes. I record show every since it has been on. If they do not remove that annoying voice, I will quit watching. It drives you nuts.

Are you kidding me. Someone needs to be fired. I’ll drink Bud Light again before I pay to watch your show without the female robot. There are plenty of shows to watch….along with plenty of light beers.
STOP WITH THE ANNOYING AI VOICE. You obviously did zero customer research – the voice is stupid and makes no sense in the show. If you think you are going to get me to upgrade and pay a premium so I don’t have to listen you that very annoying voice you are sadly mistaken. I have watched this show from the beginning but I will call it quits if the voice continues. no way will you force me into a premium package with this tactic. Good luck Parker!!! Use AI where it can be useful! This voice over AI is just plain annoying! No more watching GOD RUSH for me until it outsmarts the AI!!!!

The narration is just stupid, explaining what we are seeing and not adding any useful information. I will stop watching because it insulting my intelligence and very annoying.
Can’t stand the annoying voice. Ruins the viewing experience. Hulu won’t even respond to chat and customer service calls they say they can’t do anything. That is B.S., but I can do something like end my subscription.
