Fans Rip Moriah Plath’s Treatment Of Furbaby
Welcome to Plathville fans are not exactly happy with Moriah Plath and her treatment of her new furbaby. In fact, fans have taken to Reddit and ripped the young TLC star over her treatment of her new dog. What exactly did Moriah do to her dog that has fans so upset? Keep reading for the details.
Fans Rip Moriah Plath’s Treatment Of Furbaby
Fans of TLC’s Welcome to Plathville have been crucifying Moriah Plath in a Reddit thread that has been up for about 16 hours now. In that time, fans have penned just shy of 100 comments.
Turns out, fans aren’t just furious about Moriah’s treatment of her new furbaby. They are also furious that she even has the dog. TLC fans argue getting the dog was a wildly immature thing to do. And, they claim she had no consideration for the well-being of the dog or the dog’s needs when this impulsive decision was made.
The OP of the thread notes that they don’t understand why Moriah — who lives in such a tiny living space — would get such a big dog.
The frustrated fan vented: “Why the h*ll did Moriah get a GIANT dog when she lives in what looks like a studio apartment with a tiny balcony? I feel bad for the dog.”
A Prop Doomed To Be Re-Homed?
Sadly, many fans of Welcome To Plathville fans suspect the large dog is nothing more than a prop. They believe the dog will simply disappear. Or, Moriah Plath will make some sort of statement about re-homing the dog.
Unfortunately, dogs are commonly used as props on the TLC network. Fans often take to social media — especially Reddit — to rip TLC families for getting dogs without really caring about them.

- “I have an ugly feeling the dog will end up gone and never talked about again. She doesn’t seem responsible to take care of herself, yet alone a doggie. I have a feeling she’ll end up taking it back to where she adopted it from, or rehomed or something like that.”

Not Everyone Ripped Her Though
There were several Welcome To Plathville fans who rushed to her defense. One fan noted it made sense for a single young woman to get a large dog for protection. Others noted that she could very easily take the dog on lots of walks and to the park to burn energy. A few noted Blackjack looked well cared for and they questioned all of the hate she was receiving.
