Caitlyn Jenner Gives Shocking Update On Relationship With Kris

For most of her life, Caitlyn Jenner commanded the spotlight. In 1976, the star set three world records at the Olympic Summer Games in Montreal. At the same time, she competed in the 1500-meter race, setting a personal record and winning a gold medal. Before transitioning in 2015, Jenner fathered six children with three different women.

Since revealing herself as Caitlyn, the former Olympian helmed her own reality show, I Am Cait, and continues to be a fixture in the transgender community. While celebrating her accomplishments, Jenner admitted that her relationship with Kris Jenner has grown silent over the last few years.

Married for over 20 years, Caitlyn Jenner helped raise all of her kids in some form or fashion. Sadly, their love fizzled throughout their marriage, with them officially separating in 2013. Just a few years later, after the divorce was finalized, Caitlyn announced she was transgender. Although once considered an American hero, the star received a great deal of backlash for her stance on the LGBTQ+ community. Now, it seems that Kris is the latest person to give Caitlyn the silent treatment.

Missing Kris And The Kids

Speaking with ITV1’s This Morning, Caitlyn Jenner explained how conversations with Kris are through managers. “If there’s any communication, my manager kind of talks to her and when you have as many kids as I have, you’re closer to some than you are to others.”

Jenner insisted that she still keeps contact with the children and even visits them when time permits. But when it came to Kris, she said, “I don’t really have any more contact with her. It’s kind of sad because we went through a lot.”

Promoting the new series, House of Kardashian, set to premiere on October 8, Caitlyn Jenner appeared focused on protecting her children from rumors and bad press. “I think a lot of times in the media you get totally misrepresented, so I wanted to do it just to say first of all how much I love my kids, and second of all how proud I am of them and what they’ve been able to accomplish.”

While sad about the silence, Caitlyn Jenner continued to praise Kris Jenner and her success in controlling Hollywood. “Kris liked being in control of everything, as in the celebrity world everybody tries to control their own narrative and Kris knew how to play the game. In fact, nobody has done it better than she has.”

As for her life outside the Kardashians, Caitlyn Jenner ran for political office in 2021 during the recall election in California. Running as a Republican, the star garnered a measly one percent of the vote. Not long after, Fox News hired her as a contributor.
