Teen Mom alum Jenelle Evans claims that her husband, David Eason is not the reason her son ran away yet again. Jace, 14, left her home and went missing for the third time in less than two months. After Jenelle Evans’ son, Jace, 14, ran away for the third time, hours went by and followers were not updated. Finally, the following morning, Evans gave an update via TikTok. She shared that he had been located and was safe. As it turned out, he was apparently not brought home. It seemed that a CPS investigation was opened plus her mother, Barbara had gone to visit Jace at a local hospital where he was staying. Furthermore, Jace claimed that his stepfather, David Eason had assaulted him. This was a far cry from the story Jenelle shared with her followers. She alleged it stemmed from a girlfriend Jace had.
Now, Jenelle Evans is officially setting the record straight. According to Us Weekly, the mother of three sent out a tweet regarding the situation.

She then followed that one up by saying this:
Honestly idk why my own mother is acting the way she is. I feel now she’s using police to falsely report just trying to make us look bad as a family. There are multiple people involved in this situation and they know the truth, and so does God. 🙏❤️

Now, according to the police report, Jace had contacted his grandmother, Barbara from an undisclosed number. He let her know he had been assaulted by his stepfather hence why he ran away. However, Jenelle has maintained that her mother has not been around for months and was actively seeking protection from her.
David Claps Back
Since these allegations toward him came to light, he took to his own Instagram to share a message. Along with a family photo with all of the children, Kaiser excluded, he came out, guns blazing.

I think everyone should mind their own…….there’s always 3 sides to a story, his side, her side and the truth lies somewhere in the middle! The poor kid is probably overwhelmed! I hope he’s not reading all this mess!!!!!!
