Sugar Bear’s Ex, Jennifer Thompson, Says ‘Yes’
Sugar Bear Thompson’s ex-wife, Jennifer Thompson has said ‘yes.’ The two parted ways at the beginning of 2022 and went on to be with different partners. So, what exactly has Jennifer saying ‘yes’ this time around? Read on for all of the details.
Sugar Bear’s Ex, Jennifer Thompson, Says ‘Yes’
Viewers knew Sugar Bear as the partner to Mama June Shannon as well as the father to Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo‘ Thompson. They all starred together on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. June’s other daughters, Anna ‘Chickadee’ Cardwell, Lauryn ‘Pumpkin‘ Efird, and Jessica ‘Chubbs’ Shannon were also a part of the show. The couple even went so far as to have a commitment ceremony and it appeared they were meant to last. Sadly, they ended up on Marriage Boot Camp and eventually parted ways. June has since married Justin Stroud while SB met and wed Jennifer Thompson on television.
When Pumpkin got custody of Alana, Jennifer felt it was her responsibility to take Alana away. When all was said and done, both Mama June and Sugar Bear terminated their rights to Alana in 2022. He moved on with a woman but they have since broken up and underwent a full makeover. As for Jennifer, she alleged the SB had cheated on her and that was why they broke up but she found someone new. That also did not last but luckily, Jennifer Thompson has finally found her new forever.
Her boyfriend, Scott Barrett set up a proposal for her as he showed a blue box on Facebook. Above that, he wrote: “Will she say Yes or No?” Then, he showed a huge tree where he was doing the proposal. Finally, Jennifer showed her ring finger with a sapphire and diamond ring, with the caption: “Hey everyone the ring in the box was beautiful! It was a yes but it’s going to be awhile before it happens. We agreed to take it slow and that’s what we are doing!”
Officially Divorced?
Though Jennifer Thompson had no problem sharing why her marriage fell apart, there is no word if she is officially divorced. However, a lot has come out about Sugar Bear over the last year. He had thrown keys at Pumpkin and her eye was severely damaged back in the Honey Boo Boo days. Yet, it was covered up by production and Mama June. Pumpkin has since come out with her truth and has no problem mocking him, as well.
