Who is Amber Plath?
Amber is the seventh of Kim and Barry’s nine living children. The young lady celebrated her 14th birthday in February 2023 and is growing up quickly. On the show and in pictures on social media, she is often hanging out with her two younger sisters, Cassia and Mercy.
Amber, Cassia, and Mercy don’t play a huge role on Welcome to Plathville yet. They make appearances with the whole family, but they don’t have a lot of individual interviews. These three also aren’t active on social media, so fans haven’t had the chance to get to know them better there.

On Reddit, fans are talking about Amber, despite not seeing much from her on the show. It turns out that she’s become a fan-favorite, even though she’s had minimal screentime. One fan pointed out that Amber previously called out Kim during an important conversation about splitting from Barry. When Kim said Barry would be moving out, Amber questioned her, pointing out that Kim should move out since she wants a divorce.
Another Welcome to Plathville viewer noted, “She definitely gives her parents and older siblings the SIDE EYE when they are spouting off ridiculousness. Amber seems like a really strong kid.”
“Amber is the most underrated Plath. I think she’s going to go far in life and you can see the look on her face when her sisters talk,” added someone else.
As Amber Plath gets older, she may join social media. And fans may have the chance to get to know her better on the show as well. Over the past couple of seasons, Isaac Plath has become featured a little bit more than he was before. He also joined social media, giving fans a new way to connect with him.
